Looks nice but absolutely impossible to find someone to fix our bifolding doors. Cold air rushes in where the door should close. Not what you would expect from this price range door. So before you buy anything just know that servicing is next to impossible ( and it needs servicing after 3-4 years it‘s been fitted).

We bought the Reynaers CP130-LS PATIO DOOR- Aluminium sliding doors, 6metres wide. Sat outside one night and the pane of glass exploded. When opened they catch too much heat, the expansion space was inadequate and pop- literally saw it happen. Now GFD homes installed them and have refused to sort it out. Just over a year ago i paid around £8,000 for these doors which we can’t even leave open on hot days. They took 11 days to reply and told us not to phone. The man on the phone even admitted it has happened before!!! DO NOT BUY THESE SUBSTANDARD DOORS, you will regret it like i am. Feel free to ask me via Google as i am absolutely disgusted with their attitude. Apparently exploding windows is not part of the warranty.

I recently had Bifolds and 4 windows installed on a single story refurb/extension. I did a lot of research into the various/endless options that are available. I went through one of Reynaers installers Luxal and from the first meeting I had with them through to the installation they were first class. The sales contact at Luxal (Jame Peachy) was excellent in his approach and very helpful at every stage. The doors and windows themselves are impressive and look very good indeed. We live near a metrolink rail track so acoustic performance was important so we had them triple glazed and its made a great difference. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Reynaers and in fact have done so with a family member. Well worth a look if you are considering Bifolds/windows, a real quality product/company!!

I have to strongly advise against buying Reynaers doors/windows.

Reynaers recommended the most inept partner-installer, Melayway Glass Associates (MGA), to manage my project. MGA lack the most basic project management skills as well as professional respectability, having unilaterally changed the agreed payment terms (I had to pay under protest the completion-retention fee to actually get the doors). The doors were installed 2 months late. The doors do not fit the agreed specs (wrong coating, missing handle/lock), one door was installed the wrong way round and the installation has major flaws (including issues of water infiltration).
My request for Reynaers to fix the broken process, take over the lead in the project and bring it to completion has been ignored and MGA remains in charge of the project and the relationship. I wrote twice to the Reynaers UK Managing Director, hoping that he would favourably influence the disastrous course of my project, without success.
I got one letter of apologies early January, in hindsight full of empty promises.
Reynaers sent an engineer at the end of January, who made a report on all the installation approximations/errors that required fixing but both Reynaers and MGA have gone silent since.
The windows were installed 4 months ago but so far, none of the issues mentioned above have been addressed and I have no planned deadlines for completion. The recent storms have led to the inside "tracks" of the sliding doors being flooded with water and no one cares.

A very angry home-owner who has been appallingly let down by Reynaers and Melayway Glass Associates.

We at Raumdesign By Dekko have been using Reynaers products for 2 Years now as a fabricator of their products and since that time have gone from strength to strength they offer a great range of products of very high quality all the staff are very knowledgeable and a great help
