The sun shone on our boat trip today. Ross is a great skipper who is very knowledgeable about the birds on the broad. Lovely to be able to get out on the water at this quieter location. Our highlight was definitely the marsh harrier. Can highly recommend this boat trip.

After reading the others reviews we booked our a slot for 12.15. Ross makes you feel at ease straight away and we were soon cruising down the river spotting lots of different wildlife. Ross’ commentary makes the hour trip fly by. We had 3 generations on our trip from 8 year to 78 years of age. All of us loved it. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Found Ross via a Google search. Sent him a text and secured a place the next day. Followed Ross’s instructions and found the car park - £2.50 cash only. The boat trip was a true delight. Ross’s knowledge and passion came across in the extended boat trip we had. We spotted so much wildlife and learnt about the history and future of The Broads. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about a boat trip!

Lovely relaxing and informal trip. Will definitely try and go again. We didn't have the very best of weather, but still had great views of Marsh harrier in particular.
Brilliant value and easy to book and find.
Great that it is (well behaved) dog friendly. Bracken is beautiful 😊🐶

Our annual family holiday to Norfolk for the last fifteen years has always had a boat trip with Ross as one of the highlights. Always entertaining, knowledgeable and no one knows the wildlife of this part of Norfolk better - thoroughly recommended, great for all and dog friendly 🙂

What a brilliant wildlife tour! It was relaxing, interesting and fun, and in a beautiful and peaceful part of the Norfolk Broads not accessible unless you are on a boat. Very well priced, so a great way to actually get on the broads, and conveniently accessed - it is even possible for those with restricted mobility. And just a minute (or probably less) walk from the Horsey Wind Pump. I can highly recommend this and will definitely be doing this trip again the next time we are in the area. Bracken the dog was also a lovely addition to the afternoon.

Absolutely brilliant nature tour. Had a great time and saw and heard so much. Very knowledgeable and funny guide along with Bracken the boats dog. Once out on the boat the engine is cut and the skipper poles the boat along allowing for the true peace and quiet of the Broads to soak in. More than worth the money and will definitely go back. Highlight of the day seeing a female Marsh-Harrier.

We decided to contact Ross last minute to join him on his guided wildlife boat tour. The location of the boat yard was in a lovely spot, a little off of the beaten track, but well worth the effort. Ross and his dog Bracken welcomed us on what was a slightly blustery afternoon with the threat of rain. He had taken the time to put the rain canopy on his boat, we were lucky however, the rain held off. He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and entertained my 12 year old daughter, husband 2 dogs and myself for the whole journey and as we were the only group, allowed my daughter the opportunity to steer the boat. Very good value for money and well worth the trip for anyone interested in nature and searching for an entertaining hours outing. We would definitely recommend and return for another trip.
