Really nice walk. Can not get a good view of the white horse from here sadly. There is a hill far to the south or Roundway village itself which you can view the horse. Walk to the roundway downs, well worth it! Free parking, roads a bit rough, do NOT approach the parking from the north or north west roads.. they look like they have been bombed by Stuka dive bombers for 2 miles! Approach from the south village of Roundway if you like your car. Lovely morning walk there all in all!

Best seen from a distance along the lane. Possible to drive up, park in the designated area & walk across the cow field to the horse. It is (June 2024) quite grown over with weeds & grass in places.

Amazing views of the surrounding countryside from the top. The horse itself was a bit of a disappointment on the day I was there. Dull and not easy to spot from a distance. Spaces at the top to park the car.

The horse is easy to get to, plenty of free parking available.
Lovely views on a clear day.
It was pretty poorly maintained with lots of established weeds growing through it. Unsure why the council or even a few volunteers wouldn't spend an hour a month keeping it clear?
Quite a bit of litter around the carparking area aswell which is always a shame.
Away from the horse, there are some nice woodblocks with ropeswings and trails.

Great area for walking, running, cycling and dog-walking. I've done all of these up there but today was a run. The actual horse itself is probably (as of Sept 2019) in need of a bit of spit and polish or rather some weeding and rechalking to get it back to it's best. Obviously best seen from a distance but worth a trek or cycle to appreciate the shear effort and design required.

Plenty of free car parking, easy access and walk to the white horse, plenty of benches to sit on and soak up the beautiful views of Wiltshire. Notice board by gate which tells you about the other 7 chalk horses in Wiltshire.

GPS directions weren't accurate, Could not see the horse from the road as chalked area not defined, looked like a square of dead or dying grass. Did not bother to drive up the hill to see it at close range.

Lovely, quiet place with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Walk through the Beech woodland and the chalk downland.
