Great experience, very simple, affordable and looks like a good place to take young children for a bit of fun. Strawberrys are very sweet and tasty as they are hand-picked by yourself from the vine. You can choose the kind you like and take your time.

I went with my teen age kids today, he told off my daughter for going at the very end, though he opened the whole new aisle for other people. Not a good experience for teenager, she is still very upset.
I think he is racist. Then we tried to ask him something whileche was talking to some lady. My husband said excuse me but he ignored. My husband repeated that several times and approached very close to him to ensure he is seen and heard well but he completely ignored. Even me and my kids shouted out aloud but he ignored until he finished talking. This was so embarrassing. I wonder how can people do so and they don't even regret or feel bad especially when it comes to customers who are your source of income.
I visit every year, but don't think will do again!

Visited Rutland Water farm recently to pick your own strawberries. Found via Google, sadly there are not many places left so happy to support this one. Lots of strawberries, easy to pick and had 2 punnets in a short space of time. Lovely lad serving and very helpful. It costs more than the local supermarket but they taste much better, like strawberries used too. Would definitely go again.
