Sam helped me solve a problem I had with an IKEA desk which I wanted to use standing up. He and his father welded new metal poles and it was a marvellous job. Done with a lot of humour. So reasonably priced. Thanks Sam!!

I dropped my precious 1930's art deco brass kettle (that I still use daily) on a hard tiled floor, and found to my horror that it started leaking very gently, almost just oozing. Nothing really showed apart from some signs of limescale underneath. It is a totally sealed construction apart from the open spout, so you can't look inside. My partner found SAMS, and I dropped off the kettle, worried they may not manage to keep an antique kettle useable and looking right. Needn't have worried, my kettle came back looking exactly as it left, but with no leaks at all (turns out there were several). I cannot express how happy I am with this company! Will certainly trust them with any metal mending in future, however precious, and hightly recommend them to you.
