Saturday night very busy but good atmosphere.
This is our third visit and we still love the tapas here.

Friendly and helpful staff. Even though they were short staffed our evening was still and enjoyable experience.

Just had enough room for a pudding. Can recommend the cheesecake ?

The food was beyond expectations. After a shocking meal elsewhere in Buxton the night before, this meal really made our weekend. Everything we ordered tasted amazing. I had the veggie options, and I was spoilt for choice. If I'm ever in Buxton again, I'll definitely be coming back!

Server was attentive and friendly. Food was very quick and quite big portions for tapas so well worth the money. Great selection and so yummy. Restaurant was clean, had great music, good atmosphere. Toilets were clean. Easy to find but down a back road type thing. I recommend the aubergine fritters and croquettes.

We'd been recommended this place by several people and we now know why. Incredibly friendly, but not in a pushy way. The food was some of the best we've ever had, including on our travels to Spain. The stand out dishes for me were the chorizoin red wine (make sure you order extra bread to mop up the sauce!) And the aubergine fritters. Absolutely delicious

We came here for some lunch, walking in without booking a table. The staff were very friendly and accommodated us with no issues at all. They still need to book you into their online booking system so you have to give your details over which I found a little weird for a walk in.
The venue is fantastic, really interesting building with great decor.
We tried a few dishes, the prawns were really delicious although only having 5 was a shame as they were the best thing we got. We felt we probably made a wrong choice with the rest of the food as it was all fried, and so we felt a bit sick at the end of it due to the amount of fried food we'd eaten. The chicken wings were also not good. Lacking flavour and just bland. The potatoes were lovely and flavour full though and I do recommend them. Their wine selection is amazing, so many to choose from!
Overall it was nice experience, although if I went again I'd make sure I balanced the dishes more to have less fried options.

We came across this newly opened “Authentic Spanish Tapas - Deli / Bar / Restaurant” by accident having been open only a couple of days at the time, these guy’s were already knocking it out of the park in terms of quality, overall experience and service! We have subsequently returned numerous times over the last 18 months and the food has never disappointed, great menu and seriously good chef! Sunny day in Buxton today, great lunchtime atmosphere. A glass of smooth red, fantastic tapas and great surroundings, what more could you ask for!

Our first time having Spanish tapas and visiting the Santiago restaurant in Buxton. We were not disappointed! The lady who took our table reservation the night before was so helpful and friendly. This restaurant is always busy so booking in advance is highly recommended! The food & service is top notch! It's not "cheap", but the quality of food and flavouring makes it worthwhile. Their portion is just right: (T for one person, R for two person). We had 5 dishes and a dessert to share, with drinks. The two young waitresses and two other women who was looking after customers were very proactive and attentive. Everything ran like clockwork. Compliments to the chefs and kitchen workers too!! I would definitely recommend anyone who is in the Buxton area to give this restaurant a try!
