Make sure you use the weighbridge on entry and exit to site, gatehouse staff were very helpful. Reloaded with cheese within 30 mins.

It was originally Davidstow Creamery. Then it took the name Dairy Crest. Now it's owned by the world's 6th largest Dairy group, the Canadian-based 'Saputo' (with SAP ticker on the Canadian bourse).
The Cathedral City, Davidstow cheddar brands are made here, as is the Cornish Cruncher, the flagship cheddar cheese product.

Besides this the plant has an "infant formula" de-mineralised (D90) whey production plant and a "galacto-oligo-sacharid" (GOS) production unit.
