Outstanding - We booked as a group of eight, queue to get in was minimal and kept fast moving, nice selection of food and drinks inside to help build up the dutch courage and then once it was our turn to enter again the queue was fast moving. Once into the scream factory itself there was plenty of scare actors and everyone one deserves a round of applause for the amount of detail and effort they put in to scare us and made our night memorable. Raised the bar well and truly for this type of event, well done all

Scream factory was amazing this year! Every year they out do themselves!
Big variety of characters and there's always a change in the zones. I'm not easy to scare, I'm still not easy to scare, however, for once, I felt extremely uncomfortable it left me laughing histerically, a nervous laugh perhaps? No idea, I've never experienced that feeling before! The atmosphere is perfect, the fire pit, the music, the actors walking around and interacting with everyone. The availability to buy food, drink and alcohol is great too. I didn't notice anyone taking the booze to a bad level. Nobody ruined it for me! Such a blast and I look forward to coming back next year. Trust me, it's worth a visit even if you don't scare easily, it's all character building when you're forced to feel atleast a little uncomfortable!

What an amazing place. From the littlies twighlight tour which my kids loved to the night time where the amazing actors were scaring people in my group witless
It’s nice to attend an event where you can see a lot of thought has gone into this and the effort from all involved was A* from start to finish. The atmosphere is amazing and I love the end village with the fire pit - a great place to try and chill after the hour of scares in the walkthrough ( although chilling isn’t guaranteed lol)
The fact that this a not so small family run business just adds more Kudos to the quality of the event. Well done to all involved
It’s been a blast

Value for money 💰 it gets 2 stars. £35 each x3 plus £100 spent between 3 of us once inside on food and drink. If we had never been to another Halloween Festival, this would have possibly been okay. BUT we went to HallowScream in York last year, and this comes a very poor second. Didn't get many photos because we were told we couldn't. Only a few individuals at the beginning to scare us. The guy with the horn was really annoying, not scary. It features one maze you are put in groups of 10, then hurded through. About 30 minutes, nothing more than a walking ghost train. York had 6 individual zones with themes that lasted 30 minutes each. There are no time constraints if you wanted to queue, you could repeat a zone. There are too many clowns. Plus, they were swearing at us and insulating, not scary. I only saw 2 chainsaws, no variations. And get something new to do than bang on the tin sheeting. Plus, the dirty water and germ ridden goggles were disgusting, bork...
Next year, a return to York.

Really enjoyed every aspect of the event. Gorgeous presentation and atmosphere.

But it was let down by being too busy. Scares come from isolation and not a constant stream of people moving through a set path.

Also a lot of really drunk people acting up. Never seen that at any scare event before.

If we could have done this in isolated groups it would have been sensational. Instead an ever changing group (people running into other groups) rust ruins all immersion.

Would come again, just on a much quieter night at the very start of the event.

Such a fun experience, a staple to the north east in October. Staff are lovely, I even bumped into someone who worked there 6 years ago! In terms of improvements, we caught up to a few groups and were rushed through, so would have been fun to have a little interaction/scripted bits in a few rooms to continue the story for each section eg. The 2 nuns with the doors, we knew which door to pic as just seen the last group go through. Would be fun to have some rooms (not all) which are scripted (abit like London dungeons but scarier) can still keep the fast pace without bumping Into group in front.

Was the best event so far. Be cautious though, this isn't for the faint of heart. There's a lot of rooms that really mess with your perception (the skull cave almost gave me a panic attack. Loved ot) and it's easy to freak out.

Still ok for kids tho. My 12 yr old went and he was fine. The actors didn't overwhelm him. Actually they picked on my more!

We did the isolation tour which was well worth the money. You're supposed to be able to go through on your own but unfortunately on my visit they let the next group through too soon and we had to put up with them too, but otherwise you get to enjoy it either on your own or with your group. Definitely do it. It's the best experience.

The set is immense. Took us 40 minutes to get through and that was running!

They have quirky themes and open air as well as enclosed sections. The actors are fab. They do hound you, which shocked me and it actually made me even more scared! But the acting was great, and sometimes so funny I was in tears. They nun section was my favourite.

There's food, drink, and sweets. Needs more merch and photo opportunities. I think they'd benefit from a camera system. I bet they could sell loads of photos of people wetting their pants.

Honestly the best time. I can't wait for next time.

I want to book my tickets now!!!!
