Sunday 3rd September 2023 i walked in around 10 to 4 on a sunday and soon as i stepped in a lady was shouting 5 mins 5 mins and wen i asked the cashier something she started shouting again about the closing time but then after me another 3 people walked in and she said absolutely nothing then i tought maybe its my skin colour rest assured i will be taking my buissness elsewhere ive spent alot of money in this store but not anymore

Staff very attentive. Waited and waited to be served despite there being no queues whatsoever and the number of staff present were at least 3. Even products are not always available. Some that are are not always available to move from one site to another. Other than that ok for picking things up quickly.

Very disappointing customer service! After traipsing miles out of my way to pick up a click and collect item I was told that the two they supposedly had in stock were missing. When I asked the young lady on the till why I received a text to say the order was ready when it clearly wasn't she said "Oh that was me, I clicked 1 instead of 0". No apology or anything! I know mistakes are made but an apology and a pleasant attitude would have been nice, especially after going miles out of my way to the branch that were supposed to have stock. She said she'd find out when they were getting more stock but would have to refund me first. I said that I'd wait for the new stock which is due in 3 weeks but she said that she would need to hold on to the paperwork for a long time and that would mean more work for her. Then she told me to go to B&Q because they have the same stuff as them or reorder again on 20th August. I already knew B&Q would not have the item because I checked online before I ordered. Screwfix really need to retrain staff in this branch to be more helpful. This girls attitude was very disappointing indeed. The new lad on the next till had a far better attitude so it's a shame it didn't rub off on her. I will never return to this branch.

Picked up a paint sprayer and 6 buckets of Ronseal fence paint which was discounted and cheaper than other stores locally, quickly served and was on my way out within 15 minutes (place order, pay, collect and to the car) with my purchase. Cannot complain and staff just go on with their job.
