Visited store this morning with regard to returning a product which was faulty. The staff were so helpful and went above and beyond to resolve the problem, which wasn't the fault of Screwfix, but the manufacturer. It’s screwfix, you get what you expect with all screwfix stores. Pushy staff trying to sell you stuff you don’t want, slow service but an excellent range of goods and if it’s not stocked at this store, they’ll order it in for you.

Screwfix needs to STOP their staff pushing customers to buy stuff they didn’t come in for. I’m fully aware that this is part of the role and staff are EXPECTED to sell a certain number of goods “on special offer”. This practice is outdated and unacceptable in this day and age. Employees have a hard enough job as it is, dealing with rude and angry customers returning goods without having to annoy other customers by being pushy about buying “special offers”!
