As a deputy store manager for a big retail company, I know the customer assistants don't always get the recognition from the customers as much as they should. I went into the old mill lane store and I was served by a lovely lady today who was so polite and pleasant, made a really good impression for the company. I was also spoken to by another lady called sue I think her name was and same again absolutely lovely. Well done to you both your customer service skills are fantastic

Been many times and every team member that’s served me have been brilliant. We went yesterday for drill bits and the young lady (sorry can’t remember her name, begins with the letter A though and she sounds like Mrs Merton ) she was super nice and very helpful making sure we had the correct drill bits for our task .

Went to collect a on line order and waited 5 minutes for the assistant to serve another customer then when it was my turn he looked past me and served someone else, very disappointed with the service

Efficient, helpful and friendly staff. Large range of goods and the prices are decent.
Throughout the pandemic the store at Mansfield Woodhouse has been very diligent while still managing to be open: perfect as an exemplar for covid-secure workplaces.
I use the brand both for work and for home projects. I've not been disappointed with any purchase (mainly electrical supplies) and most things I've wanted were available the same day with only a very few needing to be ordered.

Good range of stock. Easy to view on website and read reviews before purchasing. Pay on website no transactions required at depot. Normal waiting time just a few minutes. Unwanted returns easy to make. Oak Tree Lane v friendly staff

Ordered a fused spur by click and collect, site never said it needed delivering to the store, wanted a refund as I was going to buy somewhere else. Woman on the desk who "was new" looked at me like I had 2 very ugly heads and had kicked one of her kids. Wouldnt refund. Wouldn't swap for an equally priced alternative. The man stood next to her took over, and said I could buy another one and then phone customer services to get a refund for the one I've ordered.

Why a refund wasnt possible, or a straight swap, I have no idea. Better off going somewhere else. Been on the phone for 15 minutes and still not through to customer services.
