Archie - awful customer service! Avoid!

New to the DIY scene so yes I appreciate that I didn’t come into the store prepared and know that I needed a code for them to search stock.

I met the most unhelpful and unpleasant customer server - Archie who according to his badge was the duty manager on Saturday 28th September. Condescending, patronising and frankly rude. I not only had to deal with him once but twice. Both occasions were unpleasant. He needs training on customer service and helping customers. I rarely leave negative reviews which demonstrates the negative impact he had.

I won’t be coming back here and will use every other alternative provider in the town.

Well what can I say about Alex at market Harborough screwfix , what a delightful young man who always goes above and beyond ! If Carlsberg did employees it would be Alex , 5 stars 🤩🤩

My experience is truly disappointing with this store. I put an online order on 08th of May 2020 for one item. The item was not delivered on 11th as promised. My order was cancelled and another order was replaced by store staff.
I visited the store for second time on 14th and informed them that I do not need the item anymore prior to collecting it from store.
They issued a refund request, which I have not received any money back to my account yet.
I visited the store after a week to chase my refund and was told it takes 30 days. I have emailed and requested refund from customer service website, but there has not been any response at all.
Today is 14th of June. I have not received any money to my account yet.
So simply this store takes the money from customers account, does not deliver goods and does not issue any refund either.
In my opinion an unprofessional organisation with a disgusting customer service.

Very poor - only wanted one item but turned away because only doing click and collect.
No mention of this on the website! Toolstation welcomed and served me no problems.
Will be using them in future.

Find the staff useless and very un knowledgeable about more or less anything. Have also found a couple of them rude on the odd occasion. I now go to toolstation even if I have to pay a bit more for certain items. They are alot more helpful

Click and collect only due to Covid and incredibly slow. Sat in car park, placed order and waited. Drove round to Toolstation and got what I wanted over the counter immediately. Was home for 10 mins before I finally got Screwfix confirmation. Waste of time
