We had a good experience with SCS this time round. We had a great Guy called Daniel, he was amazing. Great personality, great knowledge on products, honest about the quality of the products for the prices. He made us so relaxed & was not pushy @ all. We got a great price for what we wanted so very happy. Thank you Daniel you were brilliant, you sold that sofa.

Loads of great sofas - easily better selection than the other shops in the same retail park. The salesman (Jamie) was fantastic - did not immediately jump on us, but let us browse and was quick available when needed and answered all our questions.

If I could give zero stars I would. The salesman Matthew I found very pushy and his sale tactics need polishing up. They follow you around the showroom which I found very annoying. They stand on sofas to show the springs bouncing back again unprofessional ! We decided to however go for a sofa, big mistake. We waited 4 weeks to get the delivery people round to find it won’t fit in and they marked our wall in the process! we discussed this on order date to get told by Matthew it will fit with no problems. In return to the showroom I asked for them to rip up the contract. They then charged me an extra £200 to lreorder which I found disgusting. The manager Scott tried to put the blame on us which I think was disgusting we are the customers. Nether less we ordered the sofa again as we apparently had no choice and had to wait another 5 weeks. No wonder that showroom is alway empty I would avoid and go to a decent sofa company. I will never ever buy anything from them again. Disgusting behaviour and not professional at all

My partner and I are currently in the market for replacing the family sofa...

In one 30 minute visit on the bank holiday (Monday 27th of May,2024) the staff at SCS hedge End ruled themselves out of contention very quickly of acquiring our hard earned cash!!

I overheard two seperate sales people talking to other potential customers in a disgusting manner. Putting the hard sell on them in such a way that we felt quesy just overhearing the conversation!

I get it...you're in sales...it's all about the numbers...but whatever happened to be just a good person?

Considering this store is located right next to 3 other furniture stores you think they'd be doing their absolute best to come across as the better option.

Walking into the other stores nearby (which names can be easily found) was like a breath of fresh air compared to the tactics employed by the staff at this SCS branch.

I wouldn't consider stepping back in this store or the brand for that matter...even if they had another "sale" on.

Absolutely fine, sales people are obliging and pleasant enough, friendly and approachable. Got settees for a good price, happy with the service and product.

As a side note - watch how long you stop in the car park - we were looking for furniture in the various shops for just over three hours and it cost us a £100 fine !!! Not very happy at all, there are several furniture shops and a coffee shop and it's quite easy to exceed the permitted 3 hours !! - not like you are likely to park up and go somewhere else as it's away from anywhere else . Wasn't aware of the limit, now where back home difficult to establish it the limit was adequately displayed !! ?

Daniel was really helpful at ScS Hedge End. He helped give us all the info we needed to make a decision about the sofas we bought! Can't wait to get them! He helped with the process, was friendly, explained the finance options and gave us a good amount of space to try out a few but then help work out the best way to make it work for our new home, thanks for all your help!
