can honestly say that in my six decades, I have never regretted, or been so disappointed by a product, customer service and a purchase in general. I would advise purchasing elsewhere if you want a product and service you can rely upon and trust. That is my opinion.

Appalling, buyers beware!
Repeated advice and instructions from their 'technical team' that are completely irrelevant to the product. They don't even know how their item works! Bought a professional 2 tonne engine crane, within 6 months the ram failed. Sent photos and videos with prompt, albeit useless replies from their customer service. Finally sent it back so they could assess the problem and drained the oil before sending as they requested. On their inspection they note how a lack of oil would mean it doesn't work! The piston has become pitted and rusty - which shouldn't happen if the correct material was used in manufacture and it's constantly covered in oil. Our old one was never effected like this! But apparently we caused it through lack of maintenance which consists of storing it correctly and wiping it down which we always do. Apparently the release valve has bent and the spring, that is encased in a sleeve is rusty - again substandard materials. This is is a professional garage who's last crane lasted over 5 years, values their tools and looks after them. The replacement ram we bought to tide us over didn't work straight from the box. A trolley jack we also bought has had the design changed. There's no inspection plate meaning filling the oil is impossible in the lowered position as its completely hidden. We had the same run around with their technical team giving advice that wouldn't work on their product. Its working currently so we gave up with that. Inferior products, customer service and support is completely ignorant to how their products work and they'll wriggle out of any warranty they claim to offer. Avoid at all cost!!

Awful firm, consignment was not delivered due to nobody being present at the property, even though two days prior I'd left a note on the delivery details to state it would be fine and at my own risk to leave the item at the rear of my property. This was completely ignored and when trying to let SGS awate of this, they told me that the courier needs confirmation from SGS to leave consignments without signature. Nowhere in the courier emails or SGS order emails does it state a signature is paramount upon delivery, so even after trying to make the courier aware prior to delivery, my note was ignored and I'm now to pay 5x the price of the original delivery to have it redelivered with SGS's 'seal of approval' to leave it at the property when I'm not in. However, I've had a separate item delivered from FedEx today from SGS which has been left at the rear of my property, to which SGS's response was- 'they shouldn't have done that'

Terrible. Beware future customers if you work a day job like most hard working folk.

Bought a Tiller recently it broke almost straight away!

Worked great for about 10 minutes. Second time it started it was pulsing. I checked the spark plug and filter which of course were completely clean as was a new machine. Also even when hot the motor need priming to start which sit shouldn't need

Unfortunately this was outside the 30 day return period.
I have had to box it up and now waiting for them to collect, which means a day off work at my expense. So far its 2pm and still no collection.

I will update this review if all goes well. However seriously so far I am not impressed

Bought garden multitool. Great when working, immediately I had a problem with it not starting and cutting out. Found there was no customer service, only interested in selling the product. Unable to speak to parts or service depth. Spoke to lady in customer service who promised to get parts dept to ring me never heard back from them, very frustrating.
Purchased a Hyundai for approximately same price and now have access to parts.

I bought a 3 ton trolley jack in Nov 24 and its the ideal tool for my garage. Its a strong well made unit that raises my car in seconds with ease. Its twice as fast as my previous on being 2 piston version and is so easy to use given the really good handle thickness etc. I thoroughly recommend these blue/black 3 ton jacks to all and they are a comparable price to many other makes. It looks like it will last many years.

Shockingly Bad Quality and Customer Service!!!!! spend over £200 on a trolley jack, the release mechanism broke within about 10 times of using it. I was told i'd need to wait over a month for them to send out the replacement part, only to be told 6 weeks later I will need to wait another month so I have a jack that i can't use 🙁 the worst part is they are still selling the very same jack, so I know they could send me the part if they really valued their customers but they choose not to ... very poor i would not recommend buying anything from this company

Sadly they tried the old “we offer a warranty but if WE decide that your item isn’t broken then you have to pay for us to return it to you”

This is a new and very damaging policy that bends and uses grey areas of U.K. law to swindle people who thing they are buying a warranty with their item.

Don’t use any company that wants to conditionally offer a review of your products before fulfilling their warranty obligations. It’s a sign that you are buying Chinese rubbish at a premium rebrand price
