When a company goes above and beyond I can't let it slip. Fantastic company, huge selection of plastic. A big shout out to Mo, a customer service representative, who is really helpful in advising on how to choose a different delivery company. Plastic comes packaged with expert care in loads of bubble wrap. In general, it seems this company does not mess about and delivers with care to even small purchase orders (mine have been under £150). They respond quick and even have a Live chat with a real person if you need help when ordering. Compared to an experience I've had with another company who can't seem to CutMy plastic properly...co.uk, naming no names, this company is fantastic. All future orders will be from here from me!

Title: Unacceptable Delivery Delay and Poor Customer Service

Review:
I recently placed an order with Sheet Plastics for a single acrylic sheet. Despite their website quoting a 5-9 working day delivery timeframe for the shipping method I selected, it took 17 days from order placement to delivery.

When I reached out to customer service about this unacceptable delay and requested a refund of the exorbitant £8.29 shipping fee, my concerns were dismissively brushed aside. Rather than taking responsibility for failing to meet their own stated delivery terms, the representative deflected blame to the courier.

As a customer, I find it disappointing that Sheet Plastics advertises specific delivery timeframes but then fails to stand behind them when they are missed by such a significant margin. The fact that they charge a high shipping cost for small items only adds to the frustration when their service falls so short.

In my experience, Sheet Plastics does not value customer satisfaction or accountability. They seem content to make excuses rather than work to make things right when orders go wrong. I would caution other potential customers to be wary of their promised delivery estimates and customer service.

Very large (3mm thick) mirror for a large model Jaguar collection cabinet. The order arrived with a bonus free lifetime supply of bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard, worth unwrapping carefully for re-use. Extremely well protected, and while the cabinet is still a work in progress, I'll be sure to buy again from Sheet Plastics soon for the large clear 4mm plastic sliding doors cut to exact size.

I would not use this company again, or recommend them! Made an order and paid special delivery - it came wrong, so I contacted them straight away, she said it would be with me in the next 2/3 day (giving them a chance as things can go wrong I accepted this)
The item was still not with me 5 days later so I asked what had happened and for a refund on the delivery charge, to which I have still not heard back and they have as far as I’m aware swerved the refund - Disappointing!

I bought 3 pieces of Acrylic mirrors from Sheet Plastic for the home gym. Spoke to customer service before purchasing and the lady said as long as I stuck the mirrors on flat service (she recommended using mdf boards) using Mirror Mate glue and spread evenly then the results would be the same as real mirrors. I spent around £450 for 3 mirrors, much more expensive than the real mirrors; £150 on mdf boards and £200 to get a professional decorator to put the mirrors up. I was next to the decorator when he applied Mirror Mate, we read the instructions dowoaded from their website together and I was sure the layer of glue was even. The result....100% not happy with it as you can see in the photos. I understand its not returnable but still emailed them to see if anything they could suggest. Only replied after I chased them. No useful suggestions but kept saying the glue might not be even enough. Did not even bother to reply after that.
Maybe their other products are okay but I would not recommend acrylic mirrors at all. Wasted nearly £1000 for something so called mirrors!

Very disappointing. I ordered an acrylic mirror for my wardrobe door. It arrived and was stuck as recommended. The result was like a hall of mirrors, terribly warped. Not impressed with customer service either. After much back and forward I was told it was stuck incorrectly, not true, the door was warped, not true and finally that I had bought the wrong thickness with a refusal to refund. An absolute waste of time and money. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Purchased some cut to size twin wall polycarbonate panels. As it took 2 weeks from placing the order to dispatch, I was expecting precision cut quality. Instead it looks like a 5 year old cut my panels with a pair of blunt scissors.

Super cheap and fast delivery , quality in protecting the splash backs is lacking (see photos) lots of chips and scratches.
Luckily I was able to flip some and have the chips in a non visible location.
