Imagine if Willy Wonka owned a bottle shop and you are close to what this shop is. Always has the latest fuss craft beers by Verdant and Cloudwater, beers by new brewers and classics by British, American and European brewers. Truly fantastic and keeps improving. You owe it to yourself to give it a try.

I’ve been coming here for years! If Vic doesn't stock it, it’s not worth having. One of the best selections of wines, beers, lagers and soft drinks etc I’ve ever seen!

This is the best place to go for speciality beers for miles and miles around. Vic is hands down the friendliest and most knowledgeable shop owner, and will never fail to recommend you the best beer you haven't yet had!

I wouldn’t shop anywhere else! Fantastic range of beer, spirits, wines, ciders & more.
If you can’t find it at Simply Local it’s not worth having (but he will always try to get in what you want if it’s not on the shelf)

Great selection and friendly, welcoming staff; especially Vik, the owner.

I mainly go in for the impressive and seemingly ever growing range of whiskies, bourbons, and nice, fresh, craft beers. From Belgium, Germany, the USA, the UK, to name but a few... there's even the occasional local beer from within a few miles of the shop. There's always something new to try. And when I'm spoiled for choice, Vik can always offer an informed recommendation.

But if whisky or craft beer isn't your thing, then there's also a wide range of wines, gins, vodkas, tequilas and all manner of other spirits and treats.... especially now / when we're in the run up to Christmas. Not to mention your more standard big name beers and ciders.

The best booze shop by far good range of beers, spirits and wines and if it’s not on the shelf Vic will try and get it for , and when they can even delivery service. All staff are friendly and helpful ….. fantastic and brilliant
