Went in on phone to another shop, didn't acknowledge the customer as I walk in, when he put phone down, no good morning, just how can I help. Didn't have what I wanted, which is good with his bad attitude I walked out NEVER to enter a smiths hire again. Were is customer service gone these days.

The branch manager Steve has always been able to for-fill my requirements in a timely manner and has always been super friendly. Steve is very knowledgeable and has always provided me with expert advice and top notch service. If you need any support or advice, I couldn’t recommend the Lytham st Anne’s branch enough.

The customer service at the St Annes branch is great. I called up to hire out a carpet cleaner and whilst I was on the phone spoke about hiring some other tools out for my garden, The two gentlemen Chris and Steve was so helpful and put me in the right direction of the tools I would need for the job. Put my mind at ease and very friendly thank you Gentlemen.

Steve at smiths has done a fantastic job in helping me select which tool I would need as I was unsure but he managed to provide the best equipment for the purpose I needed. He was able to give quick delivery times and gave us the knowledge and know how to use them. I will be sure to return for future any hire needed. Excellent friendly service from Francis at the St Annes branch. Lots of great advice and explanations about the equipment. It was our first experience of hiring a sanding machine and all the bits and bobs that went with it. The results were brilliant! Thank you, we'll be back soon! 🙂

Utterly useless I ordered a floor nailer the week before and when I got there they told me it had been hired out in Blackburn and they only have one.
I'm doing kitchen floor and have all the units out and taken the week off to do it. Had to travel to HSS in St Helens wasted 3 hours of my day. Absolute disgrace.
