Needed some play sand for kids,
Checked online if they have any in stock, website says there is.

Then decided to give them a call just to make sure I don’t waste time and fuel getting there, called quite a few times, no answer.

Showed up at the shop and guess what?
They have non in stock.
So I ask them why does it say you have them online? Well they have sent them back.

Then I ask them why no one is answering phone?
They lie to me that the calls don’t go to the shop anymore..

So I decided to call one of their other shops, answered straight away.

All and all very incompetent branch.
Trippel check everything with these guys might save yourself some time and money.

Brilliant shop and I'm there pretty much any time a kids birthday is coming up or Christmas. Can't count how much stuff has been bought as they always have something I'm after in stock.

Normally have some kind of deal/sale running making it well worth either checking their website or popping in to see if something is cheaper there than elsewhere.

The staff are almost always helpful, friendly, polite, and a pleasure to deal with. Been there enough times and bound to be back again soon for more presents lol

Went in smyths toys today with my daughter and got followed after leaving with my daughter to be accused of shoplifting in front of everyone after me and my daughter got searched by some jumped up nobody and accused of stashing goods somewhere asked what proof he had of all this said he didn't have to show me a really nasty little man will never go to a smyths toys again disgusting

Bought a car seat today and Jamie was absolutely brilliant
He demonstrated the seat, weighed my little granddaughter, was incredibly informative & carried the seat to the till. He is a credit to the store & there aren’t many members of retail staff around like this anymore
I didn’t even need to look for help, he approached me and helped me choose the right car seat.
Really friendly & helpful.

Everything we buy from here breaks within days or is already faulty. Staff are rude and useless. Needless to say, we don't shop here anymore.

Popped in today to buy a car seat for my daughter. The 2 staff in that department (Micheal and I forget the name of the woman I spoke to, sorry!) were really friendly and helpful even offering to carry the seat I chose to the till for me. I was confident of the seat I wanted as I had done my research but was reassured by the thorough checks undertaken to make sure the seat was sold to me responsibly asking my vehicle and child details to make sure it was the right choice and advising on fitting. Clearly they knew their stuff. Thank you ?

Massive selection of toys. Great prices. Would recommend. Also has a huge variety of funko pop toys. Staff are always helpful and polite.
Plenty of parking spaces.

On 5 separate occasions my son has been to the shop with friends liking for either stuff for themselves or for younger siblings.
Yesterday (28th November 2021) was abruptly stopped at the door and told they need to with an adult. He is 16 and his friends are 17. A member of staff blocked the door and rudely just said your not coming in.
I went to the store to see why an as they entered staff were straight in the radios saying watch them. They ended saying it was because of COVID policy. They treat ALL younger people with the same brush and it's about time they stopped.
