A lovely gem of a tea room.

We had an afternoon tea, which was really generous with two rounds of sandwiches, a large scone, a large piece of cake and tea or coffee. Very reasonably priced and we weren't time limited either.

Excellent service, especially from the young guy working in there.

Overall, a lovely atmosphere - friendly and welcoming and with plenty of seating.

Found this place today whilst looking for a coffee stop. Food was delicious. Staff were very friendly and polite. We were served by a lovely young lad that was chatty & friendly. Couldn't fault it, will definitely go back.

Me and a couple friends wanted to find somewhere to have a cup of tea while our daughters enjoyed a birthday party on the high street. After walking into two cafes on the high street and feeling like an inconvenience, we left and found Sophie’s Kitchen. You could feel the difference in level of customer service right away!
And honestly one of the best scones I’ve ever eaten, so warm and crumbly. I will back again and again! Thank you so much x
