As soon as we viewed the Mill for our wedding venue, we booked it straight away. We had so many comments of how stunning the venue was and the staff were all fantastic throughout our wedding planning. On the day everything ran so smoothly and they accommodated to all of our needs. We can't thank you all enough for the most perfect wedding day!

We had Sopley Mill as our wedding venue and it was truly lovely. Both the inside and outside of the venue have fantastic views and is just beautiful to look around. Plenty of guests commented on how amazing the mill is and I am so glad we had our wedding here.

The staff at Sopley Mill are incredibly supportive and helped ensure everything that was organised for the day went smoothly, I cannot say thanks enough to them. They have done an outstanding job for us, I could not be happier!

If you are looking for an intimate and rustic venue ,then look no further than Sopley Mill. It was exactly what we had pictured . A beautiful building set on the River .
It is simply stunning . The low beams , exposed brickwork and beautiful natural lighting. It really is a dream.
So much space yet not too spaced out that you lose everyone .
You pretty much have a blank canvas you can do exactly what you want with .

Your venue is just stunning and Kelly was amazing from start to finish helping it all run smoothly including holding scarves up to windows to help block the view of the bride from the people outside! Thank you so much for everything you did for us. The venue is just stunning and they have thought of everything but also kept it empty enough for you to fill with your own dreams. Amazing.

Sopley Mill is an absolutely stunning venue with a passionate team who really take care of their couples and their recommended suppliers!

Working with Kelly and the team at the start of the year was a real highlight, allowing one of my couples to enjoy an extra special moment dancing together at The Mill.

A magical venue in a completely idyllic setting. It's always a joy to visit Sopley Mill and one of our favourite venues. It has so much character and history, is completely private and always looks really beautiful in every season. The team are super friendly and helpful. Unique in style, a real gem!

In June this year my Husband and I tied the knot at the picturesque Sopley Mill. With my love of historic buildings and my Husbands love of water, and our joint love of quiet and secluded locations, Sopley Mill was simply perfect. You turn off a fairly busy one way system, and 30 seconds later you're in this out of the way, calm, quiet area of beauty! The building itself is simply stunning but to be surrounded by such lush, green beauty is something else. It feels like you're the only ones there and the world has stopped just for your big day! The team were fantastic, but we wish we'd known more about the restrictions on such a historic and listed building. We chose to book the venue on it's own and arrange the caterers etc ourselves, rather than booking one of the venues packages. We believe this may have been different if we'd been more aware of how Sopley has specific contracts with only certain suppliers, for example with regards to playing music. The day was fantastic and we cannot fault the venue on aesthetics or atmosphere, but if they could explain the options around the venue with more clarity, we believe it would help newly engaged couples to make a more informed decision. A special thank you to Emma for helping us have a truly beautiful day, your calm and confident nature helped us to handle the stress and anxiety ahead of the 'I Do's', and thank you to everyone at Sopley for giving us memories we will treasure forever xxx

We had the absolute best day celebrating our wedding here! We viewed a few venues and this one stood out for all the right reasons. Every member of staff me met along the way has been incredibly friendly and helpful. On the day our wedding, our coordinator Courtney was incredible, helping everything flow seamlessly.
The venue itself was perfect for us. We loved the history and character of the building and the river flowing alongside. The layout worked so nicely on a very winding and rainy day. The three floors meant guests were never pushed out of one room while it got rearranged for the next part of the day. It also added lots of variations in our photos through out the day.
We went for the midweek package on a Sunday and felt it was incredible value for money compared to other venues. All the recommended suppliers we used were faultless too.
We would 100% recommend Sopley Mill to anyone looking for something a bit different to a barn or marquee wedding, where you get a gorgeous building, lovely outdoors space and lots of flexibility with how you want to make your wedding special.
