After getting back into film I had intended to try a few labs and see which had the best results. I used Southsun first and after seeing the results I had no reason to look any further. They’ve developed both colour and B&W going from ISO 8 to 3200 and the results always exceeds expectations.

My first ever 35mm film getting developed...I have searched and given a good think about where to send my film(s), and after some time, my mind was set on Southsun. I do my own scanning and printing, and I am so happy to find somebody to do the most important part 🙂 Sending another 3 35mm films very soon

These guys are awesome!! For a while I’ve been trying to find a film lab that can develop film quickly and up to high standards. I’ve tried many different places such as Tesco and Boots and they all take too long, and the quality of the scans were abysmal. South sun have a easy and convenient way of posting your film to them, and then they save even more time by sending the scans by email. I was surprised how good the quality of the “Medium” sized scans were. They look really great! I would highly recommend this service to anyone who still shoots film!

It would be great if we could pay extra for express developing such as dropping the film off and picking up when done to get the scans even faster. 🙂

Sent off to Southsun after using other developers previously. Photos came back within about 4 days of them receiving my films. The quality of the scans was excellent. Will use again.
