Avoid!

I ordered an expensive helmet from Spockets on Amazon, but I never received the item, and they refuse to issue a refund. They advised me to report the missing parcel to the police and to file a dispute with my credit card provider. This is embarrassing, and I will never buy from this seller again!

Dreadful company and no customer service. Received wrong item and after 2 emails and weeks of waiting I had to open a dispute via Paypal. 1 month later they finally agreed to refund me but they expect me to pay for return which is half of the refunded value. At this point I've wasted more time than it was worth it. Never again. Not sure how you're still in business with this kind of service. Mistakes happen, it matters how you deal with the arrised issue.

Cycling through the UK and France. We had an issue with a rear derailleur. We came across Paul and his shop and popped in for assistance. He treated us like lifetime customers, quickly fixed our bike and wouldn't take a penny. It felt like our home shop in Canada. Love the cycling community!!

There are many sides to the review culture we’re currently living amidst. A good side is that we've never been more informed with regard to our online purchases. A potential downside of course is that we can all share the foibles, pitfalls and gripes of our own very personal buying experience with everyone. A personal experience that may have little or no significance to someone else.

Take Sprockets for instance. If I’m honest, I wouldn’t have bought from them if I’d read the reviews. My choice of course, but there’s some stuff written about them that’s not great. I actually chose to not buy from another bicycle shop for this exact reason. So, I wasn’t aware of the reviews, phoned up and spoke to Paul.

My whole experience with Sprockets has been faultless. The advice Paul gave was spot on. The bottom bracket was delivered on time and I’m what you’d call a very happy customer. So happy in fact that, even though I don’t write many reviews, I’ve decided to give Sprockets a resounding thumbs up.

Paul and Arron despatched my order quickly as usual. Somehow the packaging opened in transit and arrived empty! They quickly sent out a replacement order which arrived safe and sound. Have ordered from Sprockets many times and will order again. Great value and speedy service.
