St Guthlac’s is a lovely church. We stopped by on a sunny day in mid-June, 2024.

The churchyard is ‘impeccably dishevelled’. I.e. quite wild and overgrown, but in a managed/lovely way.

The church itself has some nice carved stone work, inside and out. And some attractive stained glass.

Well worth a visit.

St Guthlacs church in Market Deeping has an 'open door' policy and an honesty box for those who want souvineers

The graveyard behind the church - accessible down a gravel track - is kept in IMMACULATE condition - from a personal stance this always makes visiting my mums grave much less 'difficult' as i now live some 4 hours drive away and tending to her grave myself is only manageable on a few occassions each year - it's nice to know that when i'm not there that somebody looks after it ❤️

It's a truely beautiful church - steeped in history - WELL worth a visit

Beautiful church but so very cold inside, the tip windows need closing ... We was there for a funeral but it was so cold inside.
