Beautiful historic church on the Nottinghamshire Derbyshire border. Anglican denomination, very friendly, Sunday family service at 10 am. The church dates back to the Norman period and the tower sports a classic dogtooth arch that is visible inside. The church feels light and airy with plastered walls painted white, stone highlights, and tiled floors. There are lots of carved features externally so even if closed, a walk around is nice. Parking is to the rear but only open during services. The church grounds are grassed and slope down to the Cenotaph war memorial and the Carrs, a local park. There is a car park here from where you can access to the churchyard. There are also a couple of parking spaces immediately outside the gates, on the pavement.

Went to a party at the tudor barn, the bar staff was not good and the bar was selling 35p happy shopper energy drinks and selling them for £1.20, bottle of kids lemonade from a price marked bottle for more than double the price. Not using the right measure for martini only giving 25ml measures and not making it right once approached by the incorrect measurement.
