Had a very nice weekend stay here. Great location right on Lyndhurst High Street. Stayed in a very comfortable and spacious room. Very warm room, nice hot showers, comfy beds. ||Cooked breakfast was great quality and always piping hot. Dinner in the evening was very nice too.||Staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The stay was fantastic value for money. Car park isn't obvious to find, so make sure you check their website for the alternative postcode to use to find the parking at the rear. Bonus of an electric car charger for guests was appreciated.||Only point I'd note is continental breakfast option was limited. It was cereal, toast or I think granola & yogurt was on the menu. A few pastures and fruit would be appreciated. But certainly didn't detract from a great place in a great location - would definitely recommend

We went down to see the horses and we found this nice place and we had a lovely lunch.
The starter of squid rings was not fresh, and they were very chewing, and it's a ripping of on the price.
On the other hand the main course was lovely.
Service was good, friendly staff and polite but the main course food came after 35 minutes of waiting so that was a bit too long waiting but the food arrived very well presented, very beautiful ornamented and the fish with sweet potatoes were lovely.😍

The place is very easy to find, in a nice location.
We would definitely return here again.
Definitely recommend it. 👌

My partner & I stay here mid week and very warm welcome, we had our first meal which was nice and breakfast was also nice. The room was so lovely and hot water which was lovely and staff were also lovely and helpful. Will be staying there again. Do recommend it to anyone.

Just had Sunday roast at The Stag Hotel with the family. They have a great menu. We all had a roast on this occasion. The food produce, selection and presentation were all first class. Their roast will definitely satisfy your tastebuds. The portion size was perfect. All the staff are attentive and really friendly and the surroundings are relaxing and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended and we will be back soon. Thank you to the Stag Hotel Team.

Went on a holiday retreat for a week with my partner and I have to say it was a magical experience. Amazing staff, that always had an open friendly service that felt welcoming. As well as their breakfast inclusive with the stay. I always had the english breakfast that was very fulfilling to start off the day.

Location was also great as right next to the Inn was a bike rental which we had for the day to explore the forest. As well as a bus stop close by about a minute walk to get us anywhere in New Forest. We will be definitely be returning again!

Went to Lyndhurst for the weekend and stayed in a different hotel but we wished we had stayed here. Reason being, we went in for a drink and ended up having lunch there.|Food is amazing and tasty, good quality|Produce. Presented very well.|Staff are all really friendly and happy to chat. Fantastic hotel in the heart of Lyndhurst. Very comfy rooms with a great bar and fabulous restaurant serving very tasty food. |We received a very warm welcome on arrival. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Special mention to Liam who went above and beyond, very much appreciated. We will be sure to return in the near future.

Myself and my partner came here for lunch yesterday 1st March. We shared the sharing board. More than enough for two. We were stuffed. The service was fantastic. I found it good value for money. Great experience.
