Recieved annual service on our Chesterfield multifuel stove.
The engineer Richard rang me previous day to give me estimated arrival time. He was punctual.
Very courteous and informative man. Showed me the does and don't of operating the stove. Completed a good first service including checking of our flue and replacing door seals.
I thoroughly recommend a service by the Stovax team. They know what they are talking about and obviously know their product well.

The service was well done and on time once we booked it. Gary knew the fireplace and did a great job. The only downside is that one can only book the service online with your region which taken weeks of several attempts.

Customer service is awful. The fire has broken at least 3 times over 4 years. Trying to get an engineer out to fix a warranty issue or just come and do a yearly service is like having your teeth pulled out. Would not recommend this company or their products at all.
Should you finally get an engineer they do a really good job, getting one is the issue.

I have used an independant to repair and service my propane gas fire once in the past and was really not impressed when just the following week I had the same issue only to find the engineer had lost a very small screw securing a components.
I called Stovax this year as I had a problem and now realise they are servicing and maintaining fires out of warranty.
The Stovax engineer was very professional, obviously knew exactly what he was doing, carried all the parts, and left me with a fire like new at a sensible price.
Will without doubt now use annually for servicing.
