We hired Sussex Chef to serve up a 3-course Christmas dinner for a group of 9 of us for our work Christmas party. The food was fabulous - exactly what we wanted and absolutely delicious. Brilliant, friendly service. We had a few dietary requirement which were no problem at all. Thank you so much Sussex Chef. We were delighted. High recommend!

A beautiful cold finger buffet for 60 people to celebrate a birthday. The team we professional and friendly, and presented the food with beautiful floral decor. The food tasted fab and we will definitely be using Sussex Chef again (along with half the guests who took a business card!!). As the party organiser, you made me look really good! 😆. Thank you!

Sussex Chef recently catered for a 90th birthday that we arranged for my mother. The feedback we've received from party guests on the food has been nothing but superlative, including guests that had specific dietary requirements. Despite arranging the event from overseas to be held locally in the UK, Sussex Chef were helpful, adapting to our various needs and provided a seamless service on the day.

Sussex Chef catered for a family celebration for about 30 people in August. This included an evening barbecue followed by a cold buffet lunch and afternoon tea the next day.

The food was delicious and plentiful with an inspired combination of flavours which everyone enjoyed. The presentation was absolutely beautiful at all times and the chef and other staff could not have been more helpful.

With Sussex Chef we were able to enjoy our party! They exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are so pleased that we chose Sussex Chef.

We held a lunch-time drinks party for 16 of our neighbours. We approached several local caters and were appalled at the type of food being offered.
And then we found Sussex Chef. The menus are so varied and cater for all types of events. It was a pleasure to deal with Chloe who could not have been more helpful.
We chose canapés and a cold buffet which seemed a lot but it all went.
On the day a team of three turned up in good time and started preparing the canapés so everything was ready when our guests arrived.
The food was quite superb, the service was excellent and after they left the kitchen was spotless.
All in all, Sussex Chef took all the hassle out of the event. We will certainly use them again.

Helen and the team at Sussex Chef were fantastic. So many guests commented on how wonderful the food was and how lovely the staff were - nothing was too much trouble and the whole evening ran like clockwork. I highly recommend them - superb and first-class!

We hired Sussex Chef to cater for our garden party in June 2024. They were just fabulous. They arrived, set up with beautifully decorated serving tables, served the most delicious food and at some stage throughout the evening, they cleared away and disappeared taking all traces of their presence with them. This left us completely free to actually enjoy our party.

We chose the Mediterranean menu consisting of 5 absolutely gorgeous dishes (many guests went back for second helpings) and two beautiful deserts. So many of our guests commented on what fabulous food it was. Credit to Sussex Chef for catering to our guests' various food intolerances.

We would not hesitate to recommend Sussex Chef. They made our evening an absolute joy.

I can't recommend Sussex Chef highly enough. They were brilliant from start to finish. The booking was really straight forward. The food delivery was on time and set up so beautifully. The food was absolutely delicious, with many compliments from the guest. They provided all the plates and cutlery and even boxes to keep any leftovers. At the end of the lunch, they came and cleared everything away - it was all so slick! Everyone had a great time and I am so pleased that Sussex Chef catered for the lunch. Thank you so much.
