Take One is great. I had thought of using a slide converter up country but that would have involved a lot of postage costs and so I looked for someone closer to home. Take One has proved to be perfect. It is professional and supplies the digital copies in two formats. Using Take One has enabled me to produce (so far) three really good albums. I am extremely grateful to Take One for both this work and the fact they have saved me a lot of back-breaking work trying to convert the slides myself. Hugh Williams

You will not meet or work with a more conscientious person than Ian Laurie, Take One. Ian has been Editor and 1st and 2nd Camera for me. We have worked on over 80 corporate, training and promotional films together, spanning more than 20 years. The most recent film was a gentle animation aimed at helping elderly folk who are new to life in a Care Home , often alone which must be daunting.
Ian was Brilliant, he was DOP and Editor whilst I was the Writer/Producer/Director. The Film is called 'See you tomorrow' and can be seen on Youtube. It is a simple short but it has been very well received. We raised well over £1000 for Charity at the First Screening. Ian knows film inside out, I would have no hesitation in recommending Ian Laurie, Take One to assist with your next Production. Ian also transfers your treasured home video to digital which is so worth doing.

We have used Take One several times and always had fantastic results. We have had camcorder footage put onto DVD's and have been happy with the seamless transition from one clip to another and the clear bright screen images. Graphic/box presentation of DVD's and timescales to get the work has been exceptional. Take One has also produced DVD's from school nativity and end of year productions which has also been a perfect keepsake with personalised attention to detail. Ian produced an excellent wedding video for me from dodgy home made footage making it another professional keepsake by adding music and written overlay. When we needed high resolution images for School Leaver work, Ian was willing to help and produced an excellent standard of work really quickly. Anything I have approached Ian with has been welcomed warmly and communication has been great. Would definitely recommend.
