Such a lovely boat marine facilities Talbot Wharf is and steeped in canal history!
Lisa and Tim are very welcoming, friendly and helpful and amazingly it's still a family concern. Handed from father to son...
It has a small chandlery, diesel, coal, Calor gas bottles and much more for the canal boats...

Lisa and Tim were extremely helpful. We needed lots of things for our narrowboat and much prefer to shop at an independant retailer rather than the big chains.
We was in the area visiting Audlem Mill (also excelent - see sep review) and googled chandlers in the area. Talbot wharf had excelent reviews so we came here.
Really couldnt have been more helpful. I had a long list (our first narrowboat) but Lisa went through the list and said some of the things we wouldnt need yet, so really kind rather than just selling us lots of things we dont need, which is the epitome of good honest service.
We wanted ropes and Tim was luckily in a position to be able to do them there and then for us, also chain and lots of things - couldn't fault them and would highly recomend.
Lisa even gave us their card and though she knows we are not in the area, she said for any advice we can ring them.

Brilliant! At short Notice, Tim and Lisa sourced 3 new Batteries for me and Tim fitted them for me at a very very reasonable price.
I am a bit of a Techno-Numpty and clearly, Tim is not.
Excellent customer service. Could not have asked, or expected more. Thanks.

Nice quiet area to get water for the canal boat and winding area so we could turn the boat round. Close to the centre of Market Drayton (15-20mins).
