We hired the shiny new venue, The Little Barn, for a family function last weekend & had the honour of being the first event to be held there. We were blown away with the events space, the service & the food. The Little Barn has been beautifully decorated, the little vases of flowers on the tables were a lovely touch & there was plenty of space for our party of 18. The selection of food from the deluxe buffet was excellent - including the veggie options - all the food tasted amazing & there was plenty of it, great value for money. The staff on the night were wonderful, friendly, nothing was too much trouble & I can honestly say that from start to finish, organising our family event was made all the more easier thanks to Sophie, the events coordinator/organiser. A huge thanks to the team for helping to make a memorable birthday celebration that all the family enjoyed!

Lovely and beautiful place. Extremely let down by the experience. Went there for my birthday for breakfast (pre-booked table) and was told the kitchen was closed no phone call or pre-warning considering we booked for breakfast and made them aware when we booked (2 weeks in advance) no proper apology either or goodwill gesture. Found the staff extremely rude and acted like they didn’t care just sent us on to the cowshed (other catering business). Would like to go again but don’t think I could after this experience

Amazing food, highly recommend the halloumi wrap or the quiche. Friendly staff although service was a little slow, however it was busy so to be expected to an extent. Great value for money on food and drink choices and lovely cosy atmosphere. Recommend a visit for an authentic Dorset countryside experience

Wonderful cafe! Delicious food and drink. Menu and specials board full of yummy food. Warm enough to sit outside too. Lots of seating. Really great barn conversion too. Service was lovely. Definite recommend

We took my mum here for afternoon tea as a birthday treat. It was super easy to book and I received a call to confirm this booking the day before, which felt like a nice touch. We arrived and were directed to our table straight away. The service was fast and friendly. There was a great selection of drinks to choose from and the food included in the afternoon tea was amazing. Especially the scones, they were delicious! I am already trying to plan when I can come back again!

Fantastic food and great portions, I can see why it has so many great reviews. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It gets busy very quick, so you may have to wait (or book), we didn't have to wait but noticed a few did have a little wait while we were there.
We sat outside, under cover. They have amazing heaters that kept us warm, despite us not sitting near the heaters so although the weather was miserable outside, it didn't affect our stay.

Food selection was great. Bring your appetite as the portions were a good size, plus they have so many amazing cakes to choose from.

Only down side is they don't have a kids menu, I don't think they necessarily need a separate menu, just maybe smaller portions for little tummies. It didn't affect us however as 4yo is autistic & has to have specific packed lunch, 9yo enjoyed the ham & cheese panini (pic shows half his panini as he enjoyed it so much).

I would love it if they did a variety platter with the cakes, it was so hard to choose from!

I had the meat quiche of the day & Jamie Dodger desert (I was stuffed and had to take some home) while hubby had omelette plus sides and 4yo had summer berious slice for dessert!

It was a great afternoon out

Beautiful place with a lovely bustling quirky atmosphere.
Staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Managed to find us a table for breakfast inside on a busy Saturday morning, and provided us with a take out cup for my coffee which I hadn't finished by the time we were leaving.
Lovely outside seating area.

Lots of choice for breakfast.

When the full English was brought over it looked like something was missing, we checked the menu and everything was present that was advertised. We then realised it was missing Baked Beans!!! We feel this is a staple element of any Full English, and wouldn't cost much for them to include this.
The poached eggs were on the under side of perfectly cooked, so was just edible.
An enjoyable visit.

An incredible hidden gem! Staff were so helpful and friendly. Having a large booking they rang the day before to confirm brought over extra chairs when required as well. The food was incredible the portions don’t look big but I left so full and having had the best time! The dishes were so aesthetically pleasing to the eye and had one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had. Only criticism is for the scones more jam and cream required on the afternoon teas but it was still delicious nonetheless.
