Very good size breakfast and tasted every bit as good as it looked. Asked for a flat white but more like a standard coffee.
Place was freezing but lucky to get a seat by log burner once it had been lit.
Staff could have been a little more welcoming. And if you don't approve of a begging dog it's probably not right for you.

Popped in for a beer and ended up with dinner and a few more ales.
If you like cider then you must try the on site made cider.
We ended up eating or drinking here for the next few days whilst staying near by.
Ploughman's was HUGE and the steak and kidney pudding was really nice.
Even had breakfast on our way back home after our hols finished.
Really friendly, food was lovely and added bonus the view is amazing from the beer garden.
Camping and shop on site to which all looked good (not used by us this time)
Definitely popping in here again on our next trip this way.

The barn restaurant and goat garden cafe is a one in a million spot. Tucked away in the countryside of Devon, its top notch carbonara rivals its idyllic views (and I’m not just talking about the guy behind the bar 😉) haha only kidding. Their apple and sultana cakes, as well as their cider caksis also to DIE for. We come here a lot with the family and it’s a real hidden gem.

What a gem of a cafe/restaurant/bar/shop/farm/walking spot etc etc etc! Such friendly staff, great food & produce with stunning views and surroundings. One major disappointment is that we could only fit 2 visits in on our 5 day holiday in the area, we'll be back though!

Such a find! Went back twice, once for dinner the 2nd for breakfast. Lovely spot. Also bought a handle of cider each visit, 😋 delicious ♡ we will be camping there the next time we are in the area. Lovely spot, food is fabulous. The ploughmans is actually a ploughmans, 5 different cheeses, stunning. Looking forward to the next visit.
