Popped in yesterday for a carvery, it was really busy and no tables available, but the staff were really friendly and recommended coming back in half hour and checking the bar area. We found a table in the bar later on. Joined the carvery queue, and the staff at the carvery were so lovely and friendly, especially the gent carving, making it a fun experience for everyone waiting.
Highly recommend, there's parking available too, 90 minutes free for diners

Amazing food, brilliant value carvery.
Drink reasonable price.
Staff are lovely.
When you get a carvery always ask for piece of the pie (it's great) and ask for a graveyard boat, when getting the gravy. 😀

The food was honestly rank, lasagne had barely any meat, "homemade coleslaw" was own brand shop brought. The waiter was sooo rude and argumentative with a fowl attitude. We won't be returning.

All round friendly atmosphere, establishment outstanding cleaning wise, customer service & interaction on point nothing to much trouble & always a friendly smiled face around, but most of all what an amazing carvery, food & drinks they have to offer for all & special diet needs too! Amazed so happy. Very good & prices knock the food on the head it was outstanding already want to come back! It was my first but not my last.

Dropped in for a carvery, been many times before. Must certain time of day but where can you get carvery for £6.50. Excellent value lovely meal will be back.

We went to The Beck on “Curry Night” and my wife was straight in for the chickpea and sweet potato curry.
I chose the steak and Stilton pie, a mistake on my behalf as it contained beer for flavour and I’m unable to have alcohol in any form.
As always it’s a mark of a great restaurant in how they handle a problem. I can honestly say that they handled it absolutely perfectly.
The chefs made sure that I had a chickpea and sweet potato curry exactly as my wife’s and they were full speed on the replacement.
I loved the curry and so did my wife. Well prepared, presented, and served, this team are a credit to The Beck.
Looking around the restaurant we saw other tables being served and between table changes the staff were making sure that the tables were cleaned and ready for the next guests to arrive.
We will return and can highly recommend this restaurant.
Thanks especially go to Tina who looked after us throughout.

Loved the large outside eating area, especially as we have a dog, very popular with dog lovers. The meal came out super fast which suggests it was cooked earlier and either kept warm or warmed up, making the food really dry, ribs were very dry , also veggie burger. People around us speaking highly of the cavern though. Probably won’t go back, expensive for what it was really.
