Really lovely hotel to stay at. Staff very friendly and welcoming and nothing too much trouble for them. Anthony was extremely helpful and food being served was of excellent quality. Could not fault anything . Kathryn would always leave our room sparkling and very helpful too. Would definitely go back. We had a large room and bed and pillows very comfortable ?

My husband & I turned up at 8:10pm not realising the kitchen closed at 8. The lovely waitress seated us, checked with the kitchen and happily took our order. The food was absolutely delicious, well priced, lovely atmosphere and beautiful building & decor. Thank you very much ♥️

We stayed here at Easter for a week. We don't normally stay in pub/b&b's and never realised it was until we arrived. We stayed in a double superior room and we were very happy with it. We had read reviews about cracks in walls etc but it is an old building and it did not affect the enjoyment of the room. There was plenty of space and the bed was very comfortable, probably one of the best nights sleep I have had in a b&b. The bathroom was well layed out with a light above the mirror.| Breakfast was excellent although the cooked breakfast was a bit slow to come out. The food in the restaurant was very good and we ate in there most nights. The staff were very friendly and although we had a small problem with some plumbing noise they did what they could to fix it.| The only downside was the toiletries. They advertise complementary toiletries but the day we arrived we had one small sachet of shower gell and this was not replaced until the day before we were going home. They should not advertise this if they are not going to supply them. Two sachets between 2 of us for 7 days, hardly complimentary. Luckily enough I always take some in case. This aside I would highly recommend this place.

Went for afternoon tea with 8 friends.
Was absolutely fantastic.
Service, food, location, and setting was all superb. Staff attentive and polite.
Ample parking on site.
Beautiful outside garden area with chairs and tables.
Inside has multiple rooms to eat and drink, all decorated beautifully.
Afternoon tea was simple stunning with sandwiches, cakes, tea coffee and alcoholic drinks also available.
There is also overnight accommodation available with breakfast at very reasonable prices.
Also,The Birdham is a perfect venue for parties and special occasions.
Highly recommend this establishment.

Went for a carvery. Only difference between small and large plate was 1 extra (thin) slice of meat. For £5 more.

Salt pot not attached properly so 1 of our group ended up with a pile of salt on their food. Waitresses unhelpful to solve it.

Service at the bar was rude throughout.

Absolutely would not go again

Lovely stay at The Birdham at Bembridge. Easy to find, large car park. Staff were excellent as was the food for breakfast and dinner. Good base to tour the area and lovely rooms, we booked a king room and a family room. The family room was huge! We celebrated a family birthday whilst there and the staff made it very special for our grandson and were so flexible to our family’s needs. Would definitely return, highly recommended.

We arrived to such a wonderful welcome from Anthony that we felt totally at home. The room was very sweet at the top with a lovely big bathroom and plenty of tea, coffee and water to look after us. Perfect breakfast at 8 before we headed back to the mainland! Perfect!! Thank you!?
