Just finished a lovely weekend away here. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Great location and our dog and toddler treated like kings! 😊
Breakfast was delicious and everyone there so friendly and welcoming. But an extra big shout out Chris, Georgie and Caroline who all went above and beyond to make our stay so fabulous! We will definitely be back!

Really good service from Caroline and the team. Decent choice of beers, 2 casks out of season 3 in season. Loads of lagers etc. Currently doing a deal, buy 5 pints, get 1 free.
Ok pub food. We had 2 pies tonight which went down well.
Mixture of locals and tourists. Nice atmosphere. Real fire. What's not to like.

I really enjoyed my 3 days in this hotel. My room (3) was comfortable with a nice soft bed. I'll admit that getting in & out of the shower was not the easiest due to a narrow door. There was also a bit of a hum from something outside, but it didn't bother me. The meals in the restaurant/bar were simple, but perfectly acceptable. The bacon at breakfast was a bit overcooked for me, but that's often a matter of taste. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. I was able to put drinks & meals on a tab for my room. A warning for other bikers who are thinking of visiting; Lynton is steep & twisty! Thanks very much. Huw.

We ate here and although the food wasn't gourmet it was cheap, cheerful and served with a smile. The dining room is bright and comfortable so probably a better place to eat than the bar area which could do with a good clean. If you are struggling to find something simple and pretty traditional pub fare give it a try.

Nut Roast was small, frazzled what? Partners roast chicken good size, but overall mediocre meal - including clearly stale yellowed broccoli & dried chewy Yorkshire. Nice friendly service & good pint of Proper Job.

Spent 4 days over Christmas a few doors down from this place so used the crown as a local. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Two of us ate here two nights, the food would be described as Traditional pub food ie - ham,egg,chips - lasagne - fish&chips. And it definitely did not disappoint! For the price I would recommend this place.

The pub attached to the hotel is tremendous little traditional bar. The staff are incredibly friendly, polite, and happy. The food is first class and the drinks prices very reasonable indeed. We didn't stay in the hotel, but visited the pub four or five times across the week we stayed in Lynton. Absolutely recommemded.

What a gem! We went there for two meals and it was absolutely fabulous. We were served by Caroline, who was great and she made our meal that much more memorable by her banter and quick wit. We thought she was a real treasure
