I own an established wedding cake business but macarons have always been my nemesis! I've previously invested so much money in recipes and classes to no avail! Then, I came across The Cupcake Oven and decided to give macaron making one last try (the are just the prettiest delicious little things!) So I booked onto a macaron class with Sarah. I won't lie, I didn't become a macaron master overnight, but I had such a fun day in Sarah's class, she explained the reasoning behind every step (not something I've had at other classes) and she was on hand to help me troubleshoot my many failed attempts once I got home. I really don't want to anger the macaron gods and say I've cracked it, but my macaron making success rate is now >99% and I genuinely find so much joy making them - all thanks to Sarah!! Honestly I cannot recommend her classes enough, I would give more than 5 stars if I could xx

I recently attended a Cookie Class with Sarah at The Cupcake Oven. Having booked the event several months earlier, I was really excited when the day finally arrived. My first time attending one of Sarah's classes, what an absolutely lovely day it was, it was so enjoyable.
Sarah is so experienced and knowledgeable, but what I loved more was her kindness and friendship. A very funny lady who has gone through a lot in recent years, yet still laughs and jokes about her life and herself.
I will definitely be booking onto another class in the near future.
Thank you so much Sarah for such an enjoyable day, you are an inspiration to us all.

Sarah led an amazing biscuit decorating class for about 25 of us for one of my birthday celebrations. She travelled to us despite the distance. She was calm, clear, organised and encouraging of the group’s various talents! She was very warm, personable and approachable. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and everyone managed beautifully decorated biscuits of various designs to take home. Thank you Sarah!

I have been to 3 of the classes run by Sarah now and have loved every class! She is so knowledgeable and approachable. She has a wonderful teaching style and makes everyone, from novice to professional baker feel at ease in her class, and everyone leaves with skills improved, or gained and having experienced a professionally crafted personal day. I cant wait to book another! Xx

I really enjoyed Sarahs class teaching Macarons she makes it very accessible to all levels and we all were able to make very professional looking Macarons by the end from the professional baker to the complete novice. She made the learning fun and easy and I feel confident to have a go on my own. She is so welcoming and an excellent teacher I would highly recommend attending any of her classes

My husband paid for me to have a private class for the day with Sarah learning about Macarons. What an amazing day! Sarah is so friendly and is very knowledgable and I walked away very happy.
I have also been on a couple of group courses which are great fun and learn’t a lot. I would highly recommend.
