My first order but not my last. The brisket of beef was outstanding. Bacon good , sausages chipolatas and spicy lamb lacked a little flavour my liking but again good quality. pie nice just need a family one . Not tried the mine but looks nice . Cooked ham excellent value had sliced better than any supermarket stuff and cheaper.

I'm very happy with the quality of grass fed beef mince I purchase from this company. The pricing is fair and it allows me to get the benefits of eating grass fed beef on a daily basis. This is fantastic for me to manage quite a severe autoimmune condition with higher ratios of omega 3 to grain fed. I love how it's package too, I can just season it with salt and cook it like one large burger pattie. I feel better knowing I'm buying my meat from a sustainable source too than store bought where I don't know where it's sourced. I think I'll treat myself to a ribeye on my next order for my birthday! I'm really happy with the service.

First delivery arrived today! So impressed! the packaging is absolutely first class and the meat was extremely cold and looks superb. We have tried the Krafted by Kelly Confit Turkey Thigh and honestly, it the best turkey I have ever tasted, it just falls off the bone. I'm delighted to have found this Company and look forward to purchasing much more in the future. Thank you so much for providing such an excellent service.

Two problems: severely underweight:
Livers - It says 500 on the website, 506 on the package but only 465 on the scales when unpacked.
Mallard duck - the bird was just 570 of the 800 claimed on the website and sooo hairy (second problem) that the skin just needed to be discarded or to spend an hour with tweezers. Check the images i attached - it is after i tried to clean it.
I have not checked the weight of the steaks, but know that one was much smaller.
Generally everything was fresh and well packaged but I've felt robbed.
Company have refunded the cost of the duck very quickly and offered to repeat the order, but I didn't want it unless the duck is plucked well. They couldn't provide that.
I order every week from various farm shops depending on availability and only used this one because of mallard duck to my severe disappointment. Never again!
P.S. I have accepted that wings and necks are chopped off at source and not mentioned that in my review, but if you brought that up in your reply, it wouldn't matter if bird was not underweight by 330 grams and extremely hairy. You have also referred to the underweight of the duck, in your email to me, as "there can be a variance in domestic weighing scales, and/or evaporation of liquid in the bag during transport" which if funny.

The Best meat supplier ever !

I am so happy I stumbled upon The Dorset Meat Company.
My partner and I we are quite fussy when it comes to meat but we both 100% agree that what we ordered is worth the money.

Growing up my parents had our own farm so I missed the taste of delicious grass fed beef that doesn’t smell of antibiotics when you cook it. The quality offered here is unparalleled.

I can whole heartedly recommend the following:
Beef Steak, Diced ; Grass Fed Picanha Steak; Fresh Rainbow Trout ; Heritage Special Reserve 40 Day Dry Aged Beef Strip Loin -2.0KG ; Chicken Liver and the Pork Belly Strips.
I tried the Dorset Brie and Himalayan Salted Butter as well 🙂

The price is reflective of quality 🙂 Customer service is very good !!! Super convenient that I don’t have wonder around to butchers to find things - but order online and schedule the delivery when I’m home and wait for box to arrive 🙂

Really recommend it!

Very impressed with the produce, however the sausages and burgers were squashed flat, the reason why no 5 star however very impressed with the fish and cheese, a bit pricey but,worth it for the quality of the produce. Have not tried the farmhouse sausages yet,as i am waiting for summer and trying to re inflate them.will let you know if my Search for the perfect sausage continues.? Would like
