Really big store with so many deals to be had!
There is obviously a lot of frozen food, but there is a large area with cupboard goods and fridge goods too. I didn't find any areas that were empty, so they do well to keep everywhere stocked.
Some items here are a little dearer than elsewhere, but loads of the food is cheaper, often by quite a margin. When I was in, there was a deal for 10 items for £10, which included goodfellas pizzas, which my kids love. So a great deal for our household.
They have lots of different branded goods, as well as their own brand, plus restaurant brands (like TGI Friday, Piccolino, Greggs).
The staff I interacted with were all friendly, polite, and helpful.
Recommend coming here to grab some bargains!

This store is ok, someone please coach staff on trying to run customers over when picking customers orders with their trolleys.( common sense)
Every aisle I went down the young boy happened to want to go down every single aisle trying hit me with his trolley, screw facing me. Either he was having a bad day or had some hatred towards me, next time I will ask to speak to the manager behaviour was appalling.

Having not put flat number on order , just post code . I've had many deliveries before so no idea what happened re address , it generally appears on its own ?
Anyway I rung Customer Service the day before and explained and also the Crewe Store the day before.
Both took my correct address and order number and assured me that all would be well.
On the day a couple of chaps were scouring the area , as it happens one had delivered before so he guessed where he was delivering.
On enquiring they had to guess where to go as there was no address on order , what happened to the assurances I was given the day before that my address would be on the order ? 😡

This place is OK, staff are friendly and helpful. The tills process quickly. Aisles are spacious. Car parking is free (up to 3 hours).

Prices, I would say variable. A few good 3 for 2 type offers in the freezer products although some are hard to understand, the labelling being unclear with which products are included in which offer (if you get what I mean). Anyway for frozen foods prices are .... ok to good.

Outside the frozen offering be VERY careful.
Some of the items are WAY MORE expensive than the Supermarkets and they don't really have much in the way of basic own label items.

In fact, if asked, I would suggest that The Food Warehouse look at investing in a range of "own-label" items that they can offer at bargain prices as all the other major supermarkets do.

We purposely did not buy some items on our (mental) list from Food Warehouse because we knew we could get them cheaper across the road at the much smaller Home Bargains store (which is daft considering the buying power Iceland must have).

To be honest we are not big shoppers at Food Warehouse and this trip probably didn't entice us to revisit as we can get 95% of what we bought cheaper (and with more variety/value) at Tesco/Lidl/Aldi even Sainsburys.

P.S. I am a bit of a sucker for the frozen Greggs sausage rolls though which are unique to this company.

Great store. A wide variety of products on offer and plenty of treats to be had. Service was quick and the store is kept clean and tidy unlike some stores.
The car park has plenty of space.

If you have a freezer and want to feed the family. Then this place is an absolute must visit. The choice is VAST and the prices are so LOW you'd be a fool not to go. The staff are awesome so helpful and polite. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The selection of everyday fresh items is very good too and the prices are great also. Even stocking kitchen wares too from cutlery sets to air fryers to waffle makers. All in all a great place to go and stock up on frozen stuff for the month and probably have change left over for a couple of treats for the kids.
