We popped into this Pub for lunch this afternoon as a half way meeting place with family from the Forest. We all agree that the food was delicious and very good value for money. The service we received was exceptional and such a lovely warm traditional pub. We are so pleased to have found this place and will be back in the summer. For info, we had their large sandwiches, a child fish & chips, burgers. All delicious and very filling.

The food was excellent. The chips were so delicious. Great slight crunch on the outside and thick and soft inside. The schnitzel was pleasant. A slight pinch of salt would have been better, but there was salt and pepper on the table.

The staff was nice. The seating area was also very nice too.

We liked this pub so much that we visited twice on a weekend, for food and drinks.
Great pub food choices and a really cool design. The sandwiches we tried were delicious, and they had two different gluten free options. I tried the salt beef with emmental in the gluten free bun and it was very tasty. Highly recommended

The pub itself is quite cosy with a nice atmosphere, the food was really good (the camembert in particular was very tasty). The service was okay, everyone was really nice but there were a couple of mistakes made. Would recommend overall 😊

Ad-hoc Sunday lunch on a busy Sunday. Found a table and were advised there was a wait for food but it's a nice place to relax even if there is a wait. We both had Roasts and both were fantastic and one of the best I've had. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back

We had dinner here with my husband. After we ordered and payed turned out I couldn't get what I wanted so I had to pick something else, which was actually a cheaper dish but no compensation was offered. The portions were so small even I (with a small appetite) was left hungry. We had to order something extra and ended up paying over 70pounds.
On short: It's an expensive place, not good service, tiny portions, but tasty food.

Lovely pub in the middle of Lyndhurst and a great place to stop for a refreshing drink after spending the day exploring the New Forsest.
Nice large outside seating area and nice and cosy inside if it gets a bit chilly.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend a visit if your in the area.

Very good food after a long walk in the forest. Dog friendly too. Would recommend. Not too expensive. I would recommend booking in advance. The Fuller website could be better though. At the booking point you don't get confirmation that your booking has been made. This is aggravating, because I had to hook another restaurant to be sure of a meal. Please, Fuller's... Sort this out! That's the reason for only 3 stars.
