Not only do these folks make a first rate Louisiana style Andouille sausage (otherwise completely unavailable in the UK) that we use in gumbo and red beans, they also make an addictive Tuscan sausage that we are compelled to freeze lest we eat it all up in a day or two of mad gorging. The andouille compares VERY well to anything we have bought in New Orleans or Lafayette, La. Also available is smoked chicken and a terrific smoked pulled pork. Oh, I forgot about the Kassekrainer with cheese. This is why we eat meat.
Orders usually arrive in a day or two packed using biodegradable insulation and simple ice packs.
Don't know what we'd do if these folks ever atopped trading. Well Done, Franconia!
Edit: We have tried their "Londoner" sausage which, I suppose, is their own concoction as I have never seen this anywhere else. Fabulous, of course.

I had to try these local produced sausages after a recommendation from a friend in the catering trade and they did not disappoint. Ordered 6+ different types and started with the original frank, twas delicious. The perfect frankfurter texture and flavour. Large in size too so fits any bun nicely. The beef dog is top notch too, working on the others now!...
Will buy again, perfect for parties and big occasions.

I ordered the Kasekrainer for my son who’s a real fan. He absolutely loves them. Delivery was very good with sausages surrounded by ice packs in perfect condition. Very good product and service.

Highs and lows. I was most interested in obtaining some Andouille, which I hadn't had in years. In this respect, I was not disappointed; it was quite delightful and true to my recollection of how it should taste. Their Kasekrainer and Hot Smoked Londoner sausages were also exceptional. I would easily order these three items repeatedly in the future.

Unfortunately, my hopes for the 100% beef Chicago hot dogs and the pulled pork weren't quite so well met. The hot dogs, while large, were oddly spiced, making them out of place among the usual condiments. The pulled pork, while flavourful, was surprisingly dry and needed quite a bit of attention to make palatable.

Perhaps the strongest detraction, which can be eased with proper planning, is the wait. It was 10 days and a nudging email before shipping confirmation. That said, the items were in hand in 24 hours.

I do wonder if there might be a better packaging solution. The meats were sent in a solid styrofoam box that was wider than the wheelie bin, and they were cooled with heat-sealed bags of plain ice, which was perhaps 20% solid on arrival. Don't miss the delivery!
