The Griffin, now reopened, is a fantastic spot. The pub is spacious with a great atmosphere, offering a well-maintained pool table and friendly staff. The drinks selection is solid, and the food was surprisingly good, adding to the overall positive experience. A great place to enjoy a drink, a game, and a meal.

Lunch time visit, Good pub food, generous portions, very friendly and prompt service. Pleasant atmosphere
Will visit again. (Note large TVs so maybe not evenings if you don't like watching sport?)

I haven't visited the griffin for many years and was surprised how nice it was inside, it was comfortable and pleasantly decorated, plenty of choice of drinks, it has its own car park. The atmosphere was ok but for a Friday I thought it would be a bit busier, will definitely pop in again for a drink.

Went for a meal this evening and I was really disappointed with the food and the price if I’m honest,, if the food had been nice the price would never be an issue.

£12 for fish and chips (fries) £6.50 for a sticky toffee pudding with custard, that was barely warm.

Unfortunately we won’t be back for food

Arrived 5 mins after kitchen closed... But they fed us anyway.... First class food, Service was exceptional.... Thank you.
