When my band wanted to look at making our first show reel / promo video we spoke to several studios deciding in the end to use father and son team at Hall Music. Aside from their huge level of experience what impressed me the most was their level of patience given my inexperience at never having recorded to a click track. The studio in the back of their property is fully equipped with the latest technology to ensure your project will be exactly what you want to achieve. After we recorded the 5 tracks on day one we then moved to a local venue with a brilliant stage to record the video clips. Equipped with 4k cameras, lighting rigs etc again they guys were spot on in bringing our vision to life.
There is no doubt we will use these gents again !

Phin is a great tutor - he works with me to help me master the new guitar techniques I asked for and when I struggle he comes up with another way of reaching the goal. And sometimes yet another! So, he is very patient. He helps build confidence and lessons are fun and uplifting. Highly recommended if you want a tutor who really cares about music and how it's made.

Fabulous place to work in. The guys are great to work with. They willing to learn new things as the had never worked on my kind of music before, but i tell you they did a wonderful job. I would recommend anyone to RECORD your music @ Hall Music Studio.

I’m Errol Kennedy from the 80s group imagination

It was an absolute pleasure working with Phin and David at Hall Music Studio on Drumathon 2020. Their technical expertise was phenomenal from setting up all the streaming and maintaining it throughout all 252 hours non-stop drumming for our NHS . I was extremely impressed with Hall Music Studio and the great drum sound they produced with .my vintage Gretch drum kit - the kit I’ve used since the “80s and that I played all the Imagination hits and albums on.

The legendary drummers who recorded in the studio all appreciated the kit and its unique sound including Mel Gaynor (Simple Minds) Vince Dunn (Madonna) Alexis Nunez ( The Kooks) and Noam Lederman (Corinne Bailey Rae)

If you want a sound to astound (and who doesn’t) Phin is the go to guy. I’d never played a piano when I first met him in Nov 18. However his knowledge and tutelage enabled me to play and sing at my daughter’s wedding in early April 19 - an unbelievably short time. He also set up and controlled the technical sound gear on the day. Despite the echoey oak clad hall (that’s the room, not Phin) he toiled away behind the scenes to achieve an exquisite sound that was rich, crisp and clear for all of the astounded guests. Thank you Phin!

Thoroughly recommended. Having expressed a wish to learn to play the piano and having a piano in the house, my wife bought me some lessons for my birthday. I wanted to play some well known music for entertainment and not be proficient at grade x with all the practice of scales etc. Phin has appreciated what I am looking to achieve. The lessons are enjoyable and I am practising scales because he has explained their relevance to what I want to play.
