We have just had two handrails installed on our terrace steps by The Handrail People. We are absolutely delighted with them, they look even better than we expected, and are beautifully sturdy. They will be a huge improvement to our garden and to our safety. We did have to wait three months before we could get a site visit booked, but we’re so glad we waited. Jack, who measured up for us, was charming and efficient, and his staff who came to fit the rails did an excellent job, leaving the site beautifully clean and tidy. We have no hesitation in recommending The Handrail People. They’re brilliant.

Well worth the reasonable cost!!

Like most people we, at first, considered if we could install handrails ourselves but we are very pleased we did not go any further! The Handrail People offer a professional design and manufacture service that meets your specific needs and will stand the test of time

We have garden steps that are not uniform in their rise and made with a combination of bricks and pacing slabs but the Handrail People measured and took this all into consideration and their drilling and cementing ensures they are rigid, stable and secure

Based in Worthing they are able and willing to travel to provide a quotation with no obligation and the detailed plans they submit for approval inspire confidence

We were out on the final installation date but they came and carried out the job in about three hours and left our premises in a clean and tidy condition … whilst following through with phone calls to ensure we were completely pleased with their work and the result ….. which we are!!

We are retired and wished to future proof our access at front and back door steps, before a time when we or our friends might need the assistance of handrails.
Most importantly for us was functionality as well as appearance. The Handrail People have provided us with two sets of handrails, extremely well made and finished and designed to exactly meet our wishes and specifications.
The start to finish process took some time to complete but we were not in a hurry and the final article was what mattered to us. As we live outside the area within which they carry out instalment themselves we had to find someone local to do this - we had access to such a person and his workmanship was thorough and neat (attached photos).
We consider that we have bought an excellent product and at a reasonable cost - not cheap but also not way too expensive. Well done Handrail People. Thank you, J and A.

Despite living 250 miles from The Handrail People, I chose to order from them. Their reviews are excellent, as is their website, and I felt that they would meet my requirements.

All of my enquiries were courteously and efficiently dealt with, and George, in particular, was super helpful and answered my (many) questions about measuring and fitting the balustrade myself.

Delivery was scheduled and it arrived on time, and was wrapped and protected from transit damage as well as it could possibly be.

The final product far has exceeded my expectations; it looks beautiful, the finish is superb and I couldn't be happier.

Installation took me a few hours, but I'm super proud of the finished product.

I recommend The Handrail People unreservedly.

I have used The Handrail People twice. They installed an excellent rail outside by my kitchen door and step several years ago which I’ve found invaluable. Ashley has recently installed a small rail in my WC, He was polite and friendly and did an excellent job, and left the area clean and tidy.

Result: Very pleased with the look of the handrails. Particularly like the fact they're quite substantial, whereas some we've seen look so spindly. Only regret - that we didn't have them sooner as great help with our safety & mobility & haven't spoilt the look of the front entrance & garden.
