I required a very specific type and size of slot drive threaded insert and cross dowel to replace rusted ones in order to reassemble outdoor furniture. I searched high and low across the internet for them without any luck... except for this company which had exactly what I needed.
Anita and Gaynor were very helpful and I received the items quickly. They were good quality and allowed me to finish the job to a high standard.

Terrible customer service. Called to try and find some inserts for a piece of furniture. Very rude man said "have you looked at our website?"

I said yes I had and that I had the exact dimensions for what I needed but was struggling to match them against what was online and I'd hoped they could help by phone.

He said, very irritably and abruptly "everything we've got is on the website".

I'll find another company. When you are trying to buy something and the sales team clearly don't give a **** it's a pretty good indicator of how much they will care if anything goes wrong with the order...

Sorry that calling the phone number that is displayed prominently at the top of your website caused you so much irritation!

The only place I could find the exact barrel nuts I needed for my roof-racks. Ordered and paid with PayPal, they shipped from UK to AU in a reasonable time-frame and they arrived well packaged. Website is quite extensive, which is a great help.

Unbelievable ordering system that doesn't allow you to buy the number you want on a single order. They sell singly or packs of 10. I needed 12 inserts, at about £4 each, I didn't want 8 spares.
Their system allows you to buy 10 at at £36, but then not add two more. You have to buy the additional 2 separately with another delivery charge. They are aware of it, but even if you call them, they unable to do anything other than tell you that you need to order 20 or make two separate orders. Only in the UK!

I am a manufacturer of products and needed some sample inserts to prototype a product. The Insert Company would not let me buy 10 inserts at cost to test, they wanted to charge £85.00 + VAT for them. I would have been happy to pay costs for samples but they would not do it. Very backward attitude, most manufacturers I deal with will provide a sample, a lot of them FOC. The person I spoke with came across as unapproachable, abrupt and a bit arrogant.

Bought some insert screws to fix a some wobbly chair legs - worked a treat! Very pleased because I thought it wasn't going to be possible to mend. Ordered online, and the screws came very quickly so a thumbs up from me.

Told sent, Friday.....then told left Monday.....then told courier had rerouted. Turn up Wednesday having been sent out Tuesday. Good product but won't buy from again.

Excellent customer service. We needed just 1 barrel nut that we had misplaced when building a bed, chloe was really helpful and friendly.
