We had an absolutely incredible break here this weekend, the best we’ve had in years. I drove to the location late at night on a Friday, so finding the house initially was a little nerve-racking, but that was due to my own inexperience (parking, too, is a little tricky but the instructions provided are very detailed and helpful). Once we found the property (we stayed at No8 in room 2), we had an absolute blast — many thanks to Simon for all help and guidance and a great stay.

Before the room, I have to give a shout-out to the breakfast and the refreshments provided, the chocolate truffles are some of the best I’ve had in my life (I don’t even love truffles, but these were irresistible). The overnight oats pot is also great and so delicious. A lovely breakfast, but the chocolates are just next level.

The room is gorgeous, has the atmosphere and facilities of a 5-star hotel (better than most of those, frankly). The bath, shower, fluffy mats and the heated floors, as well as the lighting, were to die for, and it was great to have an armchair in the bathroom to be able to sit and talk. We will most definitely be back and had an absolutely great time.

I booked for one night for my partners birthday and we stayed in No 7 which is the basement room. We were overly pleased with everything that came with this place. The room was heated perfectly, very clean and the bed was perfect for us. Yes, the mattress was hard but that is what we like and it did wonders for my back. Pillows are big and lush. The main highlight for me was the cellar bathroom. It was like a mini spa experience. A bathtub in one cellar, a sink in the next, then the toilet with an amazing powerful shower at the end with fancy rich smelling body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The blue floor spotlights made it very relaxing. The breakfast was all prepped for us to grab the next morning. Overnight oats, fruit salad, panettones, madeleines, orange juice, milk, water, tea's and coffees. We felt very looked after and the birthday card from the hosts were a lovely touch. We felt very secure and safe with the digital locks and Whatsapp contact with host. Also, the towels are big and fluffy so no worries about drying my hair with a tiny hand towel. We parked in Marlborough High Street 5 minutes away which is free from 6pm to 8am. The mi permit app is advisory if you have to pay for parking after these times as the pay machines are sometimes out of order.|Thank you very much for such a memorable time and we shall definitely book again soon.

Very quirky !!!|This is not your normal kind of hotel. Recomend you read all the pages on their website. The room we had was up in the loft with amazing old beams in the ceiling. A wonderfull atention to details, the complementry breakfast in the room was superb. There is not a typical restarant as you would imagine but a wonderfull burger bar next door, I belive owned by the owners, again very very quirky with excelent food. Again there are full details on their website. The rooms are very much as the pictures, the bed and bedding / towels etc etc were excelent and the facilitys were great. I think our room, being in the loft was a little small but still very nice.||The whole experience put several smiles on our faces and we will not forget it in a hurry.

What a lovely stay. I booked my room quite late in the day and the team accommodated me no problem. The room was stunning. Would recommend room 7 if you get a chance to stay the bathroom is a converted vault with the original brickwork and felt like a sauna/spa.

Everything was thought through. Breakfast is in the room ready for you with fresh milk, orange juice, baked goods and homemade overnight oats / fruit salad in your mini bar. Tea and coffee is also provided. The bathroom was STUNNING and the rain shower felt like such a treat. Location just off the high street. Parked on the high street after 6 it’s free until 8 am and you can extend to 10 am which is checkout time.

Thank you for making my first visit to Marlborough so lovely - I be coming back.

Perfect stay here in room 2 with my girlfriend for a night in Marlborough. We loved the room decor and bathroom, and the ease of entry with the lockboxes. Really well thought out space. Great staff too.

This is our go to when visiting Wiltshire. Each stay never disappoints. The rooms are uniquely decorated, spotlessly clean, comfortable, quirky & the check in is so easy with key pad access. Plus, its in the centre of Marlborough so parking is easy to find.

Our designated room was no 3 at no 7. Luckily the cleaners were still there when we arrived & showed us our room. Unfortunately the bathroom smelt terrible so my husband phoned the owner & he very helpfully said we could have no 4 instead. |This seemed like a better room & we thought we might stay. We were a bit dubious about the door which offers no privacy & security (see picture) but we persevered. |However on lying on the bed we realised that the pillows were quite horrible - really oddly lumpy & worse there were no pillow protectors, surely essential with lots of people using the bed. I was surprised by this as someone had already complained about this see reviews, but clearly had not been addressed.|We didn’t feel comfortable staying so decided to drive on home early (late that evening) which was not ideal.|On the plus the breakfast looked okay but we couldn’t eat most of it as we left early & could only take the muffins & Madelines with us.|We did have a cocktail each downstairs but they were weak indeed, a bit tasteless really ☹️.|All in all this proved to be an expensive experience for us. Disappointing.

Decided to have a short weekend away and really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, really close to Marlborough high street! Room 3 was comfortable and cosy, the in-room continental breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed it. Great communication from the owners, had a very smooth check in process. Toilet had a slight smell, could be the plumbing? But was overall fine in the room as we kept the door shut. Had a really good stay in general and we will 100% be back if we're in the area again!
