Visited last Saturday with partner and new born, very busy but was handle very well by staff, all very organised kitchen and waiting staff, appeared to be smooth operation. Waitress was lovely, gave her a small tip as that’s all we had enjoyed our cake and hot chocolate very much. Lovely experience

Sat. 10th August, 2024. Parking was plentiful and easy, even on a Saturday late morning. A nice shop with a small garden centre attached. Good range of items, but very expensive. The attached café was very busy. We didn't have to wait to long to be seated, or to be served. The food was nice, but £7.20 for a ham and cheese sandwich was excessive. The Berry Smoothie was perfect. My neighbour came with me and had vegetable soup and a cup of tea. She said both were excellent.

I had an embarrassing experience.the.last.time I visited the lakes cafe
As had got out and into the shop I was approached by one of the assistants. And she said I hadn't paid my bill. I knew I had because I had spent over £10 with them
Shortly afterwards another assistant who.i had paid my. Bill to came round the corner with my bill and said she was sorry but had got me mixed up with someone else
This was very embarrassing as I always pay on leaving the cafe when I've got the bill in my hand but apparently some people pay when they order. I have always paid on leaving. Having been going along time I didn't expect anything different.i rang the store.the following day nd.i
believe the assist had told her and she was apologetic but that isn't good enough.it was very embarrassing. I won't.be returning.for this to happen again

Not sure I would use the cafe again...ordered 2 scones & 2 drinks but waited at least 15 minutes for them to come...yes the cafe was busy but maybe more staff needed

Food fairly average and overpriced. We waited nearly fourty minutes for a couple of drinks and a sandwich followed by a very acid mannered check out woman.

Great selection of products across a good price range. A one stop shop for homeware. Visiting the Lakes for a few days and popped in on a rainy day. Cafe on site too which looked busy.
