Room was perfect - spacious and well appointed and bed and bedding were luxurious. Den was a wonderful host who welcomed us with tea and lemon drizzle cake, recommended a great spot for dinner and served us up a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Can’t recommend enough.

Highly recommend. The owner Den took time to enquire if our breakfast preferences before arrival. Greeted with an offer of hot drink & cake. First impression was the high standard of cleanliness.. Corridors, living rooms & bedrooms all absolutely spotless. Bed was so comfortable & rooms decorated to a high standard. Breakfast too was perfect. It's a 10 out of 10 from us

We stayed in The Hereford room. Very large, spotlessly clean, cosy and warm. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, although we are still in the dark as to exactly what was available other than fried. It's in a nice quiet location, between Exeter and Exmouth. The hosts were friendly enough, but we feel we may not have arrived or stayed at a time that they could give us all the info we, as tourists, were looking for. They were busy the day we arrived and asked us to arrive much sooner. We were shown to our room and were served a nice coffee and a slice of cake. Later, when the host went out, we discovered that there was nothing in the room that advised good restaurants or places to visit. We tinged the bell to see if anyone was around and the lady came out, sadly she didn't seem pleased to see us, and we left without asking for the info. I would highly recommend this B&B just we arrived at a bad time for them.

All I need to write about this B and B is excellent. |Den, the owner's breakfasts are wonderful, the cleanliness is superb and if you don't want large hotel type facilities as I didn't as I was visiting the area viewing property and yachts, it has everything that you could possibly want.|You may find yourself sharing a breakfast table with other guests, although I think this is voluntary, which for me was a positive thing, it made the stay all the more interesting, both Den and his wife have a very good knowledge of the area if you need any guidance.|I would highly recommend this place.

The stay at this B&B was the most wonderful experience from start to finish. Before we arrived Den contacted us and text message just to confirm our arrival time on the day we travelled.|Once we arrived it was Den who greeted us with a smile and offers of tea/coffee and cake.|The room (Hereford) was very spacious with coffee /tea making facilities TV along with an en suite shower that was very clean, with the bed really comfortable and cozy to sleep in. |The breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much to ask, if you needed anything and if Den can provide I am sure he will do his best.|Overall I cannot praise this place enough it is a well presented throughout and of a very high standard. |Well done to Den for making our few days stay really relaxing and will look forward to rebooking when next in the area.

Our hosts were incredibly attentive from the minute we checked in. We stayed in the downstairs room which was spotless and well equipped. The bed was incredibly comfortable as well and the breakfast was amazing. The surrounding area is beautiful and is perfect for a weekend away. We will definitely be back to stay again. Can’t fault it.

Very warm welcome. We had the downstairs bedroom; the bed was huge and very comfortable, and there was lots of attention to detail, including bathrobes to go to and from our private bathroom over the corridor. Super breakfasts, very professional and genial host. We loved the view of the meadow area from the conservatory and hearing about the eco successes in terms of thriving insects and birds. A great place to stay in this stunning part of Devon.

The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable gave us some really good advice for places to go.||This is a gem, one of the few places that provides exceptional value for money. We also had a great nights sleep over the three nights that we stayed.
