Feel bad giving 4 stars as when we spoke to right member of staff we were helped straight away with bulk item.

Unfortunately we had spoken to someone who said the member of staff we needed was on break and would be back in 15 min, we walked around and came back to the garden area. We couldn't find garden staff, another member of staff said they were going to help then disappeared. Third time lucky we were helped take our bulk load to the car after over an hour waiting. The staff were all friendly, we were disappointed one disappeared and didn't tell us they were unable to help. We then had an hour and a half travel home, had we lived around the corner where it was stocked or had it been a deliverable item we wouldn't have hung about.

During a visit to the Darlington branch my friend and i bought a few items got pushed through the till hurriedly as the woman was in a hurry on the till (carole)as she chatted pushed our receipts into our hands, of which we put into our bags without realising neither of us had any change!! Tried ringing the store 'no one answered ' so made a point of visiting the store of which we were told the till was correct!!! Nope it wasn't as my friend and I were out of pocket.if we ever visit again it will be with cards, as it looks like some staff aren't as honest as they should be.....

Came to the range Darlington
Having pleasantries with Carole on till
Handed over £30 cash.
Never received any change. Didn't realise till later when got home.
Rang friend and asked her and guess what no change.
Been in today, to be told tills were correct and nothing they can do.
Don't use cash at tills.
Staff can't be trusted

Amazing. Beautiful hotel. Rooms are amazing & spotless , spacious, beautifuly decorated to high standard. Staff are very accommodating, friendly, professional. First time here will certainly be back & recommending.

Refused to allow me to use the toilet as the “cafe was closed”. Even when I explained (briefly) my bladder condition.

Told me to use the Costa across the road, thing is I’m not a Costa customer and I WAS buying things in The Range.

Had to leave my trolley and go over to Costa, did not return for my shopping. Won’t visit again as the staff were rude and unsympathetic.

Parking is a little difficult as it is a very small very busy retail park. The store is big and well stocked but although they have trolleys there are some aisles it's impossible to get a trolley down due to items on pallets or stacked in the aisles.

Young man called Tom is an absolute credit to the Darlington store, helped me numerous times with a lot of bags of plum slate and even helped me load it into my van, nothing was too much to ask and he went above and beyond, thanks again Tom.
