Great store with a great product range but 2 major issues

1. Stock levels are awful

2. Every single time I go there, when I get to the checkout I get charged different prices (always higher) to the ticket prices. It's got so bad that I now take photos of each shelf ticket and add the prices up as I go along. Sometimes they honour the advertised prices and sometimes they don't. This trip I had to leave half my trolley behind which was very frustrating

Absolutely appauling service from this branch! Spent £200 tonight & asked to spread this over 3 payments with KLARNA to make it easier for us. which we do for a lot of things, so thought great we can re decorate our living room and not have to pay the full amount! That was Until we got to the till, the poor woman at the till didn’t know anything about it so asked another member of staff who also said he hadn’t been trained to do it so he went to speak with the manager Kevin who was 100yards in front us dealing with another customer. .. However instead of asking us to wait as he was currently busy he made the poor lad come back and tell us that KLARNA isn’t working at the moment and we would have to pay in full! NO fault of the staff at all they were lovely and it’s not their fault they haven’t been trained but expect better from the management who only needed to walk 100yards to do the transaction for the cashier! Clearly KLARNA was working and he just couldn’t be arsed to do it - proved this when I asked to speak with him and he walked off and disappeared. I’m not one for complaining at all I’ve worked in retail as a manager and know it’s difficult but i expect better than to be lied to and will be taking this further. Photo’s attached to show the signs around the shop, there was also a message on the radio in the shop advertising this service to pay in 3 as well if it wasn’t working it would of taken 2 minutes to go into the office and print out signs saying this wasn’t available!!

The yarn section has recently been reorganized and I've never been happier. The store in general is nice, but shelves are often messy and some broken items are left out.

So nice having a great shop with a Cafe on board, browsing the products over a cup of tea or coffee. The Xmas selection in 2024 was lovely.

Enjoyed our shopping , but the service at the cafe was the best part of the day . Served by Dione who couldn't do enough for us , coffee/ chocolate arrived in minutes and even stopped for a chat . Definitely be back for a xmas hot chocolate .

After spending a weekend comparing prices for fence panels from various locations, I settled with the range - only to find false advertising of free delivery, and discounts applied only to fence panels that are rotten. I spent more than an hour in the store with staff that had no idea why there was a sign saying I would get free delivery, and then being led to rotten old fence panels that they were peddling off at a discount to clear their shelves. They said I had to pay for delivery, despite the sign saying otherwise. Misleading. This has been ultimately one of the worst shopping experiences I have had, with management nowhere to be seen, even after I asked for them to come address these issues. I went on to a B&M store nearby and got everything sorted within 5 minutes. Never again.
