Took my grandson to Real Olives site in Charlton Rd for a desperately needed day's work, sent by an agency. Told to arrive at 8am, we were there at 7.45. He was told to call the agency who would contact the manager who would escort him onto the site. After repeated calls he was told the manager had not gone into
work. We waited until 8,30. I'd like to thank the manager concerned for his concern. Obviously a no contract agency worker counts for nothing, however we have to pay bills too. Wish I could say this was a unique happening but he's obviously beneath consideration. My mind goes back to the desperation portrayed in 'Boys from the Black Stuff' Gissa job!
