AVOID this company. And standby for the unprofessional response that will no doubt be received in reply to this review.
Chris and Rachael are a small family business of 2. They tell you what you want to hear at point of sale. If you take nothing else from this review DO NOT allow Chris near your plumbing. It leaks, fixings lasted less than 24 hours, it looks untidy and leaves you questioning if this man is a qualified plumber.
His office staff are initially very helpful - but the moment there is a problem (caused by the fitting) they become defensive and abusive. Refusing to return to correct the leaks.
Check your invoices - we have paid £120.00 over what was QUOTED and they are refusing to refund it stating it covers an extra call out, which was a return visit to fix the plumbers leaks and was paid days before he had even arrived! Explain that?!
Pictures of the plumbing work are below. Nothing level/plumb, pipes balanced on cuts of MDF and a number of leaks. All push plumbing and PTFE tape used on brand new olives (un-required if fitted correctly)

Regardless of the response you will no doubt see below - this will all be addressed through a small claims court.

Excellent Service from the initial house visit to installation by Chris and the Swindon site visit looked after by Rachael. I've just had a Hague Maximiser 410 water softener fitted by Chris and the work has been done to an excellent standard. I've attached a photo of the busy cupboard environment under our sink that is now tidier than before. I had quotes from others so know the prices are compatible, but the knowledge and local staff are what convinced me. Highly recommended.

Initially Chris seemed to be friendly and know his stuff. The fitting was fine but after a couple of weeks we noticed things were not working properly. When emailing Rachael (be careful not to spell the name wrong!!) with my concerns I got a long winded reply which was on the rude side. Instead of just sending the engineer round to take a quick look. It turned out he had not put the levers in the correct position when he left after install. It could have been easily dealt with so beware if you have any problems you won't get a simple step guide as to what it might be or someone pop round but a 'there's nothing wrong it's not our fault type of email as if you have personally attacked them. Sort our your aftercare and you will get happy customers who won't right poor google reviews. It's a shame because the fitting end of things appears to be ok (although its only been 3 weeks) It's the admin end that really let's you down, I'm sorry to say. There is a good company for softeners in Holt nr. Bath which I used before and wished I'd used this time. The customer service is excellent, salt deliveries were prompt and well priced.

Very happy with the Hague water softener we had fitted recently. We didn’t feel pressured into making a swift decision and the team also offered to swap the salt blocks supply we had from our previous unit to tablets for the new one. Feel we have had very good service from a local company.

We’ve recently had a water softener & Tri flow tap fitted by Chris & we are over the moon with what he has done.
We now have an accessible stop cock which we didn’t have before & it’s made life so much easier.
We are extremely happy with all the work that’s been done & the after care.

Do not recommend at all. Sold me a £2k Quooker and RO package but the two units in combination weren’t compatible. Left me to finish the install as the first unit was duff - wouldn’t return to finish the install and resolve the problem, and then refused to refund the unit causing the issue. I now have a RO unit that I can’t use and can’t sell as unbeknownst to me it only cost £200 to buy new via AliBaba, and it’s practically impossible to get replacement filters. Google model number cl-cr-h301 and you will see the cheap Chinese rubbish that’s being sold for over £800 - after ‘discount’! Similar RO units can be purchased for £400 or less from finerfilters etc..
Also charged me for plumbing components that were never sent out. Chris (engineer) has good intentions and is helpful but Rachael in the office is downright rude and unhelpful. Was going to take to small claims court but the whole situation was really stressing me out so had to just try to forget about it. I don’t like writing bad reviews of small family businesses but all they had to do was refund the RO unit (which would have been no cost to them) and I would have been happy, but they were more interested in trying to get every penny they could out of me.
Thoroughly ripped off - lesson learnt!
